On this tour, you'll have the chance to learn more about Croatia's turbulent 20th-century history, with visits to important wartime sites.
After meeting your guide, you'll make your way to the famous underground tunnels constructed as a bomb shelter during World War II. As you explore the tunnels, you'll hear about the country's wartime history, along with dark stories of its fascist state of the time. You'll pay a visit to an interactive museum exhibition, where you'll have the opportunity to learn more about communist Yugoslavia and the Croatian War of Independence. You'll also hear about the modern-day relationships of the former Yugoslavian states.
