On this day tour, you'll have the opportunity to discover the rich history and heritage of the Philippines. After a hotel pickup, you'll visit historic sites of both Cebu City and Lapu-Lapu City. Formally the capital city of the Phillippines, Cebu City is one of the country's oldest cities and home to multiple historically important landmarks. You'll explore Santo Niño Basilica and see Magellan's Cross, which was planted by the famous explorer Ferdinand Magellan upon arriving in Cebu. You'll also visit a guitar-maker, Taoist temple and a flower garden.
From Cebu City, you'll also visit the island of Mactan to view the Mactan Shrine, which memorialises the native leader Lapu Lapu. Before completing your day tour, you'll also have the chance to eat lunch at a popular restaurant.
