The property has been sympathetically renovated after a fire in 2020. it still has a wonderful pub ‘feel’ but the rooms are tasteful and (without exaggerating) one of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. I could not see a cobweb or mark anywhere. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was wonderfully appointed for the price with a nespresso machine and a great range of tea and coffee. Again, I’ve stayed in more expensive properties that don’t have this.

Howarth House is chic and vibrant coastal location, we provided the ultimate setting for a luxury bed and breakfast experience, with stylish surroundings expressly designed to satisfy and delight... We booked this very last minute as we were visiting a friend in St Annes for new years eve. The location was perfect for this. Also perfect that it is dog friendly, it was also a very short walk to the huge beach for a dog walk. The B&B entrance was beautifully decorated for Christmas and was a very warm welcome, also by the staff. The breakfast/lounge area was also very comfy and beautiful. Breakfast itself was also very tasty and we liked that you could get two courses for example a fruit platter then a cooked breakfast. We had two single rooms as we booked last minute. Both were comfortable with a good bed and shower.

We LOVED everything about Alma Cliffe (well, perhaps not the steps, LOL). Our host Tracey was fabulous in very way, and our room (and bathroom) were spacious, clean, and comfortable (with special personal touches and supplies for our every need). Breakfast was great, and the front garden, spectacular view, gorgeous nearby countryside, and short walk into this quaint town 'on our path' made this affordable lodging a clear favorite~

Facing the seafront, Balmoral offers 3-star accommodation in Morecambe and features a terrace, bar and shared lounge. What a lovely stay! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The hotel was very clean. Bed was soft as a cloud and really comfortable. Location just across the beach. So much attention to detail! Breakfast was fantastic! This really should be a 4 star not a 3 star hotel. I highly recommend staying here.

It is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location. The owner and staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Everything was lovely, great room, fabulous breakfast and we would also recommend having dinner during your stay as our meal was delicious.

Nice village. Staff friendly and helpful. Evening meal very good quality Fresh food (would go just for the food). Would highly recommend.
