The hotel owner, Luz, and her mom, Juanita, were so personable and warm. They really helped me and my friend order food, drive us, and also made me tea and soup when I was feeling sick! It felt like I was being taken care of like family and I am so grateful to have met them.

Situated within 300 metres of Rinconcito Beach and 700 metres of Mazunte Beach in Mazunte, Casa de Kai Mazunte features accommodation with seating area. The owner is a really sweet lady who always made sure we're happy and asked if we need any cleaning. The room is simple but clean and comfortable, we especially enjoyed having a table by the window for work and a fridge with some welcome beers and a bottle of water. There is a basket with first aid, knife and some other essentials in the room whish is a lovely detail. Even though there's just a fan we were okay because the windows with mosquito nets assure good circulation. The wi-fi was good enough for work. It is true that the shower is just a pipe without a shower head but I actually prefer that to weak pressure showers in many other places. Bonus: extremely friendly cat 😁 Perfect location close to the beach as well as the colectivos on the main road. Plenty of great food spots nearby. We would definitely come back!

Located in Brisas de Zicatela, Bugambilias Alojamiento provides a garden. Guests can enjoy garden views. At the guest house, rooms come with a wardrobe. First of all: What makes a hostel stay amazing? Isnt it about the people you meet and how cozy and at home you feel? Bugambilas Hostel was a perfect stay for us. Its a local run business located just a few minutes from the beach and the main street in la punta. Its quiet at night and a very calm get away from the party people on the main street. Dalia welcomed us as we are friends for a long time. We stayed 2 weeks and still coming back to hang out there. We stayed at a private room. The Hostel offers Dorm rooms, capsules with aircon and private little bungalows. The place is only some month old and offers everything you need (kitchen, hammocks, hangout area etc). And the best: Dalia is building a nice pool at the moment and a little shop. Dalia and all the people we met made our stay unforgettable and we made friends for life. Situated less than 1 km from Principal Beach, Casa Sixta offers a garden, and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. Casa Sixta is in a great quieter location in Puerto, a very short walk to some of the calmer beaches like Manzanillo and Carrizalillo. Magnolia is a wonderful, kind and hospitable host. She was very helpful and accommodating during my stay and I really enjoyed having nice conversations with her. Definitely recommend staying at Casa Sixta!!

Villa Bonobo features an outdoor swimming pool, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Puerto Escondido. There is a communal oven and coffee machine. Absolutely everything. Confy beds. Overall layout of building is super nice.

Conveniently located in the Oaxaca Historic Centre district of Oaxaca City, Casa los Arcos Oaxaca is set 45 km from Mitla, 600 metres from Santo Domingo Temple and 1.3 km from Oaxaca Cathedral. Comfortable room with super clean bathroom and wonderful host. Great location a short walk to the main centro area. Definitely recommend this place!

Hostal Central Oaxaca features accommodation within 1.1 km of the centre of Oaxaca City, with free WiFi, and a kitchen with a microwave, a fridge and kitchenware. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at.

Boasting a patio with garden views, an outdoor swimming pool and an open-air bath, La Playita Beach House can be found in Puerto Escondido, close to Zicatela Beach and 1.4 km from Marinero Beach. Playita offers a great area to chill. It is super close to the beach and close enough to bars and restaurants, but at the same time far enough to have a good night sleep.

Offering city views, Posada Nautica is an accommodation situated in Mazunte, 300 metres from Mazunte Beach and 600 metres from Agustinillo Beach. We highly enjoyed staying here and extended our stay twice to 8 days in total. From top cleaning to the great view on the Pacific Ocean - Zero complaints at all :-)

Set in the middle of a tropical palm tree garden and only 50 metres of Zipolite Beach, Castillo Oasis has free Wi-Fi connection throughout and massage services. Playa del Amor beach is 200 metres... The guesthouse is very beautiful and nicely decorated and the owner is very friendly and kind.
