The Hotel Silken is a unique combination of art, culture and comfort. This 4-star deluxe hotel, located in the heart of the European Quarter of Brussels and only 4 metro stops away from the "Grand Place", has an impressive architecture and a fabulous design.
The hotel integrates the art and photography of the 21st century.

Don't forget to pay a visit to our restaurant, "L'Objectif", our bar, "The News", our coffee house and the "Relax Spa". This is the place to be to relax, with a sauna, jacuzzi, solarium, massages and fitness (extra cost of EUR 9 per person per day).

There is easy and direct access to the city centre, airport and all important motorways. The "Grand Place" and all shopping streets are at only 4 metro stops from the hotel.

Food & beverage

Our restaurant, "L'Objectif", is open for breakfast every day from 6:30 to 10:30 (7:30 to 12:00 at the weekend). You will be served a full American breakfast buffet.
Lunch is served from 12:00 to 14:00, dinner from 18:30 to 22:00.

Our bar, "The News", serves cocktails and tapas. The bar is open every day from 16:00 to 01:00.

The Jacqmotte coffee house is known for its large variety of coffee blends from all over the world. Open every weekday from 7:00 until 16:00. The coffee house is closed at weekends

Room information

The 214 rooms and suites are luxuriously furnished and fully equipped for travellers' needs.
In addition to the listed facilities all rooms have electronic safe and a complimentary bottle of water. There is 24-hour room service.

Area information

The hotel is located next to the Berlaymont Building in the heart of the European Quarter. 5 minutes from the hotel there is a nice park, " Parc du Cinquentenaire".
4 metro stops to get to the Grand Place and famous shopping streets like Avenue Louise and Rue Neuve.
The several Irish pubs and Italian restaurants make the neighbourhood very cosy.

Huge breakfast and attractive spa

The bed covers where never changed in the 5 nights of our stay. And we felt that they were not cleaned and freshly washed when we checked in. The sheets and pillow cases were changed, but not the bed covers that contained the blanket within.

The firendly, multi-lingual staff

The fact that the bed was one of those pull-out sofa beds - and also my room was on the basement level

Location was outside centre in quiet and pleasant area and yet close enough to central Brussels. Breakfast was excellent and price could not be bettered. Easy access to public transport to and from airport.

We were given a smoking room without explanation from reception when no smoking preferred was booked. The room had strong smell of stale smoke, was cold, could not be heated and there was not enough bedding. The hallway and lift had fresher smells than the room and to get warm we had to have a hot bath. We did not inform staff because staff did not ask, even when checking out.

The location of the hotel was very close to the Metro and easy to get to the city center. The hotel room itself was very nice, large room and bathroom, however the lack of a shower door or curtain caused water to get all over the floor. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is a little ways from the city center and getting to the sights, but you can easily take the metro. The biggest disappointment was that in order to use the pool and spa facilities it was an additional 9 euros per person and if I had paid the full rate I'd be irritated to pay an additional amount to use that. The breakfast offered was 25 euros, didn't even think about paying that much.

It is very close to metro station "Schuman". On average hotel was good.

Relax zone-SPA was very poor - half broken infra red cabin, one jacuzzi and steam bath, sauna. It can`t be called "relax zone" if you don`t have an opportunity to use it because it is too smal
