In the lobby you’ll find a refrigerator with chocolate bars, soda drinks, sandwiches, etc.

Our staff is always glad to advise you about some good restaurants or cosy bars in the vicinity.

All 66 rooms, 60 of which are superior rooms (with twin or queen-size beds) and 6 of which are deluxe double rooms with balconies, have been refurbished (2008).

You can choose for a smoking or non-smoking room type.

All rooms have the following amenities are equipped with electronic door locks, crisp white duvets and bed linen and a direct dial telephone with voice mail. Iron and ironing board are available in each room.

The Astoria Hotel Antwerp is located in the heart of the city centre, adjacent to the beautiful city park.

The old town centre, with its restaurants, bars and world-renowned diamond district, is located just around the corner. The central station and the main shopping street are less than a 5-minute walk away.

Just a nice simple hotel, receptionist was nice on this occasion but some of the other receptionists have been variable in the past

Room was a little cold at night and no obvious way to adjust temperature

Its location - easy to walk into town.

Their parking policy is abominal. I paid in advance for 4 days parking and twice found myself without a parking space (first time when I arrived back at 2 am - not exactly a time to find another carpark in the middle of a city!!). I was told they sell spaces to anyone who asks and it's a case of 'first come first served'. I think that is deceitful.

Good position. Clean room. Breakfast reasonably good. Friendly staff.

Room was clean but a bit worn/tatty. New matrasses just installed, but pretty hard and uncomfortable. Quiet except that there was a LOT of NOISE due the scaping of chairs across the floor in the breakfast room, immediately onder my room. Started at 07:00.

Arrived early and very nice receptionist upgraded us to a de luxue room. Room was very comfortable. Location very good for city centre and walking distance from Antwerp Central - check out the location in advance because not so nice taxi man charged us 10 euro for what should have been a 4 / 5 euro fare! nice to see Irish flag flying over the entrance :-)

Heating in the public areas seemed to be set rather high.

location (10 mins walk to station, 15 mins walk to cathedral, city centre, shopping), very knowledgeable and friendly night clerk, breakfast buffet (wide choice), convenience of the hotel parking, room size (we booked a double deluxe on top floor with balcony), value for money

Night staff and housekeeping standards were below average - no comparison to 5* is appropriate as the other review said.
