Everything was quite nice. Our room was quite cosy, the breakfast was good, the hotel was quite lovely. It didn't like it at all that the maids went to clean our room when we were still in the hotel. They should do that once we had left. One time we had to wait for the maids to finish cleaning in order to brush our teeth and get ready do go out and enjoy the citiy. Oh!, and this between 9.00am and 10.00am! That behaviour should definitly change. |

Friendly staff. No tea making facilities, no shower, poor breakfast selection, very bland hotel, room was large but cold looking and sparce with no character. As it was Christmas would have expected a little more decoration, 1 tree in entrance. |

The lobby and breakfast area were very beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and very complete (large variety of foods). The location of the hotel was good - not too close to the centre (a relatively quiet street) and in an area that I wouldn't have explored otherwise. The room was 2 single beds pushed together - a double bed would have been better. The room was very large and had sparse furnishings which gave it a rather spartan look. The room decor did not fit with the look of the lobby and breakfast are. |

A wonderful elegant building providing a hotel that was enjoyably different from the modern "could be anywhere" standard 4*. Huge quirky rooms. Great service. We would definitely recommend. The extra bed collapsed and damaged the wall - the legs dont lock out on the bed.Fortunately no damage to child! No tea or coffee making facilities. Didnt |
