The view of the room was amazing, we had the lake view and it was amazing. The location of the hotel is good, it is close to the bus top and form there you can go to Spiez and Interlaken. However, the bus doesn't pass in a good frequency. The hotel is good, the breakfast is very Swiss, but with everything fresh.

Location is top-notch. The beds were surprisingly comfy and warm, and it doesn't feel overly cluttered with furniture. Nothing really beats the location for the view, and it's relatively convenient/cheap for its proximity to Interlaken/Lauterbrunnen.

We liked the friendliness of the hosts, the bathroom, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and rural atmosphere. We ate at several of the nearby restaurants with lakeside dining. We did not have a car but it was easy to get to the location by bus #60 from the Spiez train station. Very pretty place but not much to do apart from a few restaurants and a Church. Good if you want somewhere slightly out of nearby Spiez, which is easily accessible or as an effective overnight stop when hiking. Probably not so much to recommend it as a destination per se.

The view towards Thunersee and Niederhorn mountain is not forgettable one. The swimming place is right nearby the property and one can chill in fresh Thunersee water easily. A lot of activities could be found in nearby village of Faulensee or next picturesque town of Spiez. The rooms condition is pretty good, the breakfast was quite fine as well and stuff is very friendly and ready to help for any request. I would definitely recommend to visit the place!

The bed itself was really large, perhaps the largest bed I've slept in, so me and my friend could comfortably sleep without getting in each others way. Parking is free and separated via a barrier, so only guests of the hotel can use it. They also have a separate parking spot for electric cars/plug in hybrids.
