The hotel has a fitness centre and 2 meeting rooms with a capacity of up to 200 people in each.

The hotel Eurostars Thalia become from a reconstruction of a classical building dated from XIX century. Its position used to be very important in the past medieval times when the wall of the Old Prague town used to be exactly on its position. The only provement of it is the existence of the old defending tower in the inside block of the hotel, which can be seen by the window of our hotel only.

Food & beverage

Breakfast will be served between 7 and 10.30 am (until 11 am on Sundays).
Enjoy a romantic dinner in the ABC restaurant, or a coffee in the trendy Library Bar.
The most discriminating palates will find their own paradise of tastes in the hotel's broad, varied gastronomy. The restaurant is open from 1pm to 3 pm and from 7 pm to 10.30 pm.
Room service is available from 12.00 noon until 2.00 am.

Room information

Eurostars Thalia features 125 comfortable rooms equipped with plasma-TV, air conditioning, minibar, wireless internet access, safety box, telephone and bidet. The top floor offers a panorama view of Prague Castle and the old town. Non-smoking rooms, connected rooms, suites and apartments are provided on request.

Area information

Eurostars Thalia Hotel is located directly in the city centre of the golden Prague. The National Theatre, the Vltava River and the Charles Bridge are just nearby the hotel. The main shopping street begins in the front of the hotel and all the historical monuments including the Old Town Square are all in a walking distance.
All public transport is accessible near by the hotel.

The entire hotel is accessible for wheelchair users. There are also several rooms suitable for disabled guests. These rooms can accommodate a maximum of 2 guests and have walk-in showers with no barriers or steps.

The location was decent

The hotel seemed nice, but the room I stayed in had a bed like a rock. It honestly felt like I was sleeping on plywood. I'm used to staying in European beds, but this one was ridiculous. The staff seemed rather snotty upon checkin and continued to be so during my stay. Overall, not very impressed with the way they carried themselves. My experience was rather poor for their star rating.

The central location - ideal! Couldn't have been better really. No need to use public transport. Everything is in short walking distance. Staff 1st class. Exceptional door man.

Seemed very bad that you could only get scrambled egg at Breakfast. Would have been most welcoming to offer fried, boiled, omlette. Orange juice like water with no taste. Could have on offer boxed orange juice, would have more taste and flavour. All in all found breakfast quite a dissapointment really. Couldn't understand why so many people ranted and raved over how good the breakfast was

Good receptionist. I ask for local map and she took time to explain the highlights on her own initiative.

Yeah...very strange, for this hotel class, it does not provide Shampoo! Also, breakfast variety is less than expected, but certainly good and sufficient for a normal traveller.

The personel at the front desk can be a bit more service/customer friendly.

This was my second time to stay at Eurostars Thalia. I was very happy with the hotel on the first visit - two years ago - but unfortunately i was not at all happy this time and feel that standards have dropped quite a lot.The only thing I was happy with was the location of the hotel.

I do not think this hotel deserves 5 stars. There was no shampoo in the bathrooms and when we asked in reception we were told it is not hotel policy to supply shampoo. This is absolutely unacceptable from a supposed 5 star. Breakfast service was a disaster - too few staff so food could not be replaced quickly enough and the restaurant was an absolute mess. Very disappointed with the hotel overall.
