The town centre is nothing special, a typical shopping experience in an industrial city. However, find your way to the magical old town and you are transported back in time to beautifully preserved buildings and streets. I imagine that the tiny cafes and tea rooms open in the daytime create a relaxing and civilised atmosphere to compliment the architecture.

Great German style breakfast including boiled eggs and fresh rolls and meats and cheeses. The bar was a fun place to hang out in after we returned to the hotel. All staff was very friendly!!

Lene on reception was so helpful she went to so much trouble to book us a restaurant in the town which was quite hard as the Christmas Market was on, nothing was too much troble for her. A valued member of staff definitely an 11 out of 10 for her.
