Excellent location, super charming hotel in an amazingly beautiful town. What a wonderful place, we loved it and thank Teresa for her hospitality.
This hotel is located in a wonderfully tranquil but convenient location, in a quiet side street in the center of Dinkelsbühl. Come and stay in this unique and beautiful timber-framed hotel.

Right in the center of Dinelsbuhl and easy walk to everything you would want to see or explore. Breakfast was to order and very good. Room was comfy and clean. Staff/owners were available and helpful. Would certainly book again. Lodging was in a separate building from kitchen, dining and admin building but it was ten steps across an alley.

A lovely museum with the history of the town from its beginning and
during the middle ages. Best to leave cars outside the town and walk along the cobblestones.

The hotel property was fantastic!!!!!
The hotel property was fantastic!!!!! Just 4 weeks old it reeks of newness, in a good way. Very friendly staff, they seemed to have a great plan at this early stage for how they want to engage with guests. Almost everyone spoke English which made it very easy to communicate despite the distance from a major population area. The breakfast was included in the price as was unlimited use of the sauna and pool facilities. Not once did my wife complain that we weren't getting our moneys worth :) The warm water pool on the top of the hotel was especially fun after sunset when there are fewer people. My wife had a massage and was ecstatic. She wants to bring her daughter back for a girls only spa weekend. Which brings us to the point of what type of visitors would love this property. Couples seeking romance and relaxation, definitely. We saw couples of all types and singles with their laptops in need of getaway. I only saw one family there but it could be a fun place for them as well.
On the bad side, finding a place for dinner was extremely difficult as every restaurant was solidly booked and required reservation. We ended up at a small place just outside the town gates and well as my mom would say, if you don't have anything good to say just keep quiet. The following morning at breakfast we received the evening menu in the handout. That was a bit of a disappointment as we would have definitely loved to have tried it out. Next time!!
To sum it up, we loved it and expect to return.

Absolutely lovely town.
Absolutely lovely town. Not very touristy, which really allows you to connect with the locals. There was great shopping with many boutiques, great restaurants serving delicious franconian cuisine and great opportunities for photos. I really enjoyed Cafe Haugen, Cafe am Munster, and Vino and Pane. Cafe Central was also fantastic. The town had great hospitality and everyone seemed so friendly here.

The town has great atmosphere and is immaculate in every way. Picturesque buildings, typical Bavarian style and colours.
Lots of bars and restaurants and all in all a great place to spend a couple of nights.

Beautiful old walled town.
Beautiful old walled town. Most buildings are preserved and well kept. Beautiful walks all around the many towers and along the riverside. Excellent Tourist Information with guided tours and night watchman tours. For the foot weary there are tours in covered horse-drawn wagons. Plenty of restaurants with several places that serve food they actually cook rather than convenience food. Tiny restaurant with brewery recommended.

On the Romantic Road with loads of wonderful history with its Historic walled and beautifully preserved with excellent facilities. A must see place and woirth staying several days to see and do more and to learn more about the history especially the Swedish connection. and the annual Rock concert. A town not to be overlooked and the people are friendly and open to a good chat.
Located 100m outside of Dinkensbuhl one way city center. Free parking outside. Very good food for dinner. Standard German breakfast. Clean and spacy room. Good communication in English with the owners. Free wifi
Only 1 night stay for business, but highly recommended. Good value for money.
For those complaining: if you want hotel experience book a hotel and pay hotel fee, not a guest house.
Will stay again if nearby
Altstadtmittehotel Sonne is located in a great location and has a very cozy atmosphere. The breakfast selection was just perfect, and the staff extremely attentive. Our duplex suite had remarkable views, a spacious bathroom and a large comfortable bed.
It was a wonderful stay at little eisenkrug.
It was so great that the hotel was in the middle of everything. We enjoyed a beautiful breakfast and felt very well taken care of by the breakfast lady. We would definitely come again.
Excellent location. Charming clean room. But, it was the staff that made this a beautiful stay. All the employees, from the maids to the front desk staff, made this hotel a joy to stay at. I definitely recommend.
Central hotel in a popular tourist spot. Comfortable and clean room with all the usual facilities.
Evening meal was excellent. Staff speak enough English to get over our non-existant German!
From the first step in the hotel the staff were very friendly and helpful. The building and atmosphere combined beautifully with the charm of the city.
Very clen and great breakfast
Everything was perfect. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We had dinner in their restaurant, delicious fresh food. Breakfast was great, especially the Kaffe.
