Only fourty five minutes from ferry port of Bilbao, away...
Only fourty five minutes from ferry port of Bilbao, away from city in national park area so very convenient for early morning sailings or late evening arrivals. Only 5 minutes off the motorway so quick and easy to travel and find hotel in small town. Underground parking safe and secure but only 4 or 5 places available. Hotel Restaurant closed due to Covid 19, but continental breakfast was fresh and quickly served and available from 07.15 am.

Lovely town , nice bars and restaurants , we ate in the hotel which was excellent and at a restaurant in the square , again excellent . Very friendly people , and well kept , pretty and safe town with easy parking . We had one problem with the town and that was a rock music concert that started at 9 pm and finished at 5.30am which was so loud that no one got any sleep the night before competing in an Ironman event in nearby Vitoria - no blame for the hotel but whoever gave permission for such loud music until that time needs sacking !
