Lovely small town with several friendly restaurants and a lovely local museum. Definitely a good place to relax in a beautiful boutique hotel and explore the locale. There was easy parking in the town centre and a friendly tourist office with good local Recommendations This was an excellent base from which to visit the Mont St Michel and surrounding area. Don’t miss sampling the locally brewed Calvados!

We were coming towards Avranches from the south and ended out on the new road towards Granville. Very frustrating and could be improved, We don't use Satnav. The actual hotel is vey unique and definitely different - the owners clearly love the style etc. WE found it a little overwhelming! Gardens absolutely superb!

The house is located in a very peaceful area while being close to the centre of Avranches. It was a quick walk to the shops and parks. There is a tranquil pasture overlooking the sea offering gorgeous views of Mont Saint-Michel!
