Strasbourg is a lovely city any time of the year.
Strasbourg is a lovely city any time of the year. I am not a big fan of Christmas markets, but the one in Strasbourg is one of the oldest ones in Europe. The city is not too big, it is worth walking around, having a coffee or lunch on one of the terraces in Petite France or taking a boat trip on the canals. The tower of the cathedral gives an amazing view of the city.

It was expensive for what it was but Strasbourg is expensive and staying at Kehl or Port du Rhin is almost same price and very boring (have tried that before) Just pay the money. You will be glad you did.
