Home to the Roman baths of Constantine, the necropolis of Alyscamps and the Church of St. Trophime, Arles is a perfect example of a city perfectly combining the ancient with the modern. Arles is just gorgeous, but I also really recommend a guided trip into the Camargue, stunning nature and history. We were guided by Christophe from the official guide association, great experience. Also, the saturday market is a must! A lot of great things on offer to take with you on a picknick in the country-side just outside of Arles!

It was our second visit to Arles, to catch-up on what we had missed before. We admire the ancient Roman history of Southern France, the country side, beautiful weather. The " Provincials "are so nice, friendly and
very helpful ; just make the effort and they will respond very well. Stay in the "old" city and immerse yourself in history!

Arles is a lovely town and the Camargue nature park is very convenient. It would be lovely to see the fountain at Place Lamartine were working again though I can understand the need to conserve water these days. parking outside the old city is fairly easy, except maybe on market day.

Arles had a lot to offer.
Arles had a lot to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of the Camargue bull races and the chance to see the ancient arena. This was a form of bull games that didn’t seem as cruel as bullfighting and focused on the bull instead of individual matadors. We also enjoyed the Van Gogh art walk and found a number of different sites where he had painted so prolifically in the city. The cloisters were beautiful and was among one of my favorite places to visit in Arles.
This guesthouse is more like a B&B than a hotel. It's location is superb (but not super quiet), the owner is very accessible and knowledgeable about the town and the area, and the breakfasts were phenomenal, featuring locally made jams and other goodies. The yogurt was the best! Arles has a lot of history and is a great jumping off point to visit other towns in the area. The parking spot worked well and the room's A/C was fantastic, very appreciated after a hot day of walking around outdoors.
I always enjoy staying at an Ibis hotel because of its consistency. You know what your room will be like. The receptionist spoke perfect English and was very helpful in showing me the bus routes on the map. Free parking is always a plus in France. The room was very large and although it didn't have all the amenities like shampoo and hand lotion, on the other hand it was very inexpensive and a good place for a quiet overnight stop convenient to public transportation into Arles City center.
Comfortable hostel I got line 2 bus stop near train station near to hostel 1 euro otherwise good 25 to 30 minute walk
Once you get there it's clean and beds comfy , it's walking distance to tourist office 10 minutes and hostel very near Roman cemetery Alyscamps were Van Gogh painted one of his paintings it's beautiful a must see site very peaceful and see LUMA building in public garden near cemetery go up 9 th floor fantastic view of Arles .
Arles lovely place to visit lots to see
This is a fantastic hotel. It is in an old building almost next to the amphitheater in the old town. You could not ask for a better location. The room was exceptionally comfortable and clean. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. There is also a sitting room for guests. We slept very well and it is very quiet at night. The centre of Arles is compact with museums and old buildings to visit. There are plenty of places to eat in a few minutes walk.
The Spa is great, relaxing and very well organised. The breakfast is wonderful, very wide range of fresh food with attention to biological local products. The staff is very professional and welcoming and the hotel has got also facilities for conferences and it is like a community place. The room was spacious and with a lovely decor and a lovely small terrace. Highly recommend it !
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Reception staff spoke excellent english. The room was really clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with a good selection of food, something for everyone. The hotel is ideally located for the old city and the tourist office is right opposite and lots of restaurants near by. A great hotel to explore Arles.
Great location - right next to the Roman theatre and arena of Arles. A great host team (2) who met us upon arrival, helped us to find local parking (with a free parking pass during the stay), helped us with our luggages, and gave us a great orientation about the facility and the surrounding neighborhood. They also met us upon checkout too!
The rooftop is beautiful and a great place to have a lunch or dinner picnic. The rooms are simple, a bit old-fashioned but comfortable. I loved my daily walks across the bridge to get to the Arles center in just 3 minutes. The people who run the hotel are kind and helpful. the hotel is very clean.
In the heart of the old area in Arles. The room was remodeled, clean, and spacious. The wi-fi was great. They have a pool and an outside bar. They are right across from the famous restaurant that Van Gogh painted. The staff was very friendly and helpful and are available 24/7.
Truly charming Hotel, in the heart of Arles, very close to the amphitheater and many amenities. Easy to walk everywhere. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and the breakfast is truly special. Highly recommend it.
The location was very nice but finding a taxi in Arles is a huge issue and this hotel was not close to the station. You definitely need to plan for hiring a car or else you will be in trouble.
Small charming hotel un an ancient building on a tranquile square at the same time in the centre of beautiful Arles. Nice room, fine beds. Extremely friendly and helpfull staff.
The hotel is around 10 min further from Arles center and is a nice farm.
The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.
It was a nice and hassle free stay.
Location- 5 min walk to Arles station and I the edge of the historic centre.
Spacious and comfortable room in a lovely hotel.
Staff welcoming and helpful.
Nice place to stop in Arles. Would definitely choose Les Gardians instead of sth in the centre of the city. Huge space, nice swimming pool, comfy rooms.
