the location on the lake was ideal for swimming and enjoying the view of the mountains surrounding lake annecy. walking distance to grocery store and restaurants. the restaurant next door to the apartment was very good.

This really is a great apartment. Attractive, well equipped, nicely decorated, lots of space where to put one's clothes and gear, nice balcony for eating and relaxing. Since I'm a light sleeper, I was delighted to find that there was no problem with any noises at night. We were not bothered about the access to the bathroom being via one of the bedrooms since access to the toilet is from the corridor. And there is a storage room for bicycles (which we hired) in the garage, extra bonus. We would love to return some day.

A wonderfully warm welcome from Ben with thoughtful touches in the property from coffee pods, wine and children's toys and books. Sparklingly clean and all of the appliances you could require. Large garden with furniture to relax in and a spacious living area.

We especially loved the bakery.
We especially loved the bakery. Duingt is a very pictursque French town by the lake and the mountains. Thankfully it is not overly touristic (yet) and we could appreciate the French character of the place. It seems to be good for people who like hiking though we could not do that ourselves. Our suite was in a well architected set of suites very near the water and we enjoyed a splendid view.

This is probably my WORST experience through booking.com. We paid 300 EUROS for a two night stay in April. We did not have HOT water for 24 hours! It involved me taking pictures of the electricity board and sending to the owner to fiqure out what was going on. Still have not idea on how it was fixed. After flying for many hours & then driving there, we were then told that we had to strip the bed linen and towels and put them on kitchen floor on the day of departure. Then we were told that we had to make sure all the dishes out of the dishwasher were packed away and we had to empty the dustbin on exit. The person who was there to " greet' us was extremely rude. This flat is someone's holiday home where all the crockery is old and chipped and there are old tea and coffee stains inside the cups. There is also no microwave and the old electric kettle is faulty. The ONLY plus of this place is its location. But to be honest, after having booked so many times on the website, this accomodation has NO place on booking.com.

The area was perfect for us, it was outside of the hustle...
The area was perfect for us, it was outside of the hustle and bustle of Annecy but close enough that we could drive there when we wanted. There was a great spar shop in Duignt which sold lots of organic produce and a great patisserie selling bread and beautiful sweet treats. Everything you need is walkable - shops, restaurants, safe beachside access to lake and the walk through the gorgeous narrow medieval streets of Duignt via the cycle path is amazing with some beautiful properties to look at. We will definitely return.

Lovely village, some parts are very old.
Lovely village, some parts are very old. It has a fab little bakery with lots of choice and a small new Spar behind the church. There are a couple or restaurants but we didn’t try them out. Very easy to walk too via the lane in front of the apartments, 5mins.PaulUnited Kingdom

You walk 3 minutes behind the parking and reach the charming village of Duingt with a bakery, small grocery shop and bicycle rental. Appartement is very well furnished and beds are good. Excellent restaurant next door. The young woman who welcomed us, Indra, is lovely. You have the equipment you need to cook a meal and there's a dishwasher with pods, refrig, cooktop, microwave and washing machine ( bring your own pods). There is a table and chairs and a comfy loveseat.
