For a last minute reservation, we were happy to be at this Logis. We ate at the on-property restaurant and were pleased with the quality of the food. We did have a problem with the plumbing in our bathroom and management changed our room without hesitation. We were actually upgraded which was a surprise.

Cathedral is great. The roman ruins are pretty good. The town is wonderful to walk around in. In the evening everyone was gone and the streets were quiet and wonderful. Autun is a lovely town in a tranquil setting. It is full of intersection, and not it the famous cathedral carvings and reliefs. The people are friendly and welcoming and there are good places to eat and drink.

This city surprised us with the amount and quality of its monuments and history. Do not miss the museum! Incredible works of art from the Roman era, medieval, renaissance, and more. Parking can be a challenge in Autun. So leave the car if you can. Also, don't miss the Morvan region and Bibracte.

The hotel sits on top of the tallest hill in Autun next to the Cathedral de Lazare, one of the oldest cathedrals in France 🇫🇷 built in the 12th century. The hotel is actually one of,the buildings that was part of the diocese and even has vestiges dating from Gallo-Roman times.
