Its location and the receptionist. The condom machine near the lift and entrance made it seem like an hourly "knocking" shop. That might be in keeping with a railway hotel in Paris but its not what elderley ladies want to greet them. No cheaper booking online! |

Only the hotel's proximity to Gare du Nord Indifferent staff, an uncomfortable bed (very hard mattress), small, dreary room with laundry bags left in the corridor! |

Cleanliness of beds and comfort of beds Outside our room seemed to be the store area for bags of bedding which made us feel uncomfortable if there had been a fire our escape would have been very difficult |

it was close to the Garedu Nort train station- a requirement. The lift was tiny and slow. I kept tripping over a door mat well in the entry way. The desk persons were of uneven friendliness and helpfullness. The former Yank was very helpful. The others, not so much. |
