The rooms are a good size for central london and the hotel is well situated. The rooms had good facilities for disabled.

The hotel has a closed aspect and the breakfast had a good choice but was poor quality food. Even though the rooms were non smoking there was a smell of old cigarette especially when the air conditioner was turned on and there were many cigarette butts on the window sill from previous visitors.

Convenient position for theatres, museums etc. Comfortable room & excellent breakfast. When the hotel discovered that we were celebrating a special anniversary, a bottle of wine appeared in our room. This gesture was much appreciated.

Our room was too hot and reducing the thermostat to lowest & fan to highest did not have sufficient effect

The staff werte nice and friendly and the food was nice.

The value of the room was quite bad even for the London area

Staff were polite, friendly and (apart from the breakfast room) efficient.

Breakfast was (at times) chaotic -- seemingly due to staff shortage and (at times) poor supervision. The mattresses were new but too soft for someone with a bad back. The excellent TV facilities were marred by slow, inflexible menu software.
