Peak season will definitely make this town more lively with more shops open. We came during early April, and the beaches are empty (which could be great if you prefer to keep the beach to yourself). The drive around the island is interesting as most roads are narrow with hills. Recommend to go with the full insurance option if it's not expensive as precocious. Breakfast is also very nice. After some nights we changed the room for the one in the annex, which I must say was even more suitable for our little one. Rooms are nicely decorated and very well kept.
