A busy medium-sized city with lots to offer. Play golf at Araya, go on outings to Sengkaling and Batu, have beautiful and authentic meals at Hotel Tugu, go shopping at MOK or Town Square, or try the many street cafes and good restaurants (try the Hungry Kitten). A great vibe in the city due to the many students who attend the dozen universities and tertiary educational establishments in Malang.

We stayed in Malang for one night.
We stayed in Malang for one night. We wanted to go to Bromo from there. It wasn't the best idea of itinary, because it is difficult to go to Bromo from there, in the end we had to book a private car. There is a part of the town which is completly painted, full with colour, it is really nice to go there and walk around a little bit.
