Traditional Irish Dancing show times:
Evening show: Monday to Thursday from 21:00; Friday to Sunday from 20:30. Afternoon session: Saturday from 17:00; Sunday from 12:30. A 3-course meal and a show come at an additional cost.

Food & beverage

Knights Bistro offers a relaxed dining environment with a wide selection of cuisine. Situated on the ground floor, the medieval-themed bistro offers a full Irish breakfast every morning and an extensive dinner menu from 18:00 onwards. The chefs pride themselves on their traditional Irish stew and seafood dishes.

Knightsbridge Bar serves carvery lunches each day, or you can choose from an extensive bar menu, which features some of the finest Irish recipes.

Breakfast is served Monday to Friday from 07:00 until 10:00; and Saturday and Sunday from 07:30 until 10:30. Lunch is served from 12:00 until 18:00; and dinner is served from 18:00 until 22:00. Bar food is available from 12:00 until late.

Area information

The Arlington Hotel is the most centrally located hotel in Dublin, close to all tourist attractions and shopping districts including O'Connell, Henry and Grafton streets, and business districts including the IFSC.

The Abbey Street Luas stop (light rail transport) is 200 metres away to the north.

Room was on a high floor with no noise disruption, staff were exceedingly helpful and catered for special dietary needs

Amazing location, nice clean rooms. Was pleasantly quiet in our room even though we were on the 1st floor.

Very loud bar plus bouncer when you walk in the entrance at night.

There was a very good atmosphere when you entered the pub. The music in the main bar area was very entertaining.

The water on many occasions was cold when we wanted to take a bath/shower. Upon check out my husband and I were going to say something to receptions about this but unfortunately we felt it would have been a waste of time. On two occasions we heard guests reporting this issue at reception and to be quite honest the staff was not very helpful, nice or apologetic.

The hotel was in a perfect location and central the shopping, eating and nightlife. The rooms were very tidy and all was provided for. Also the craic in the bar downstairs was excellent. I would strongly advise anyone travelling to Dublin who wants a good central location for their trip to look no further than the Arlington.

Room windows were a little dirty, but a good cleaning would easily sort this out.

The room and bed were comfortable and clean. The live Irish dancing was excellent. The food was also excellent. The restaurant staff were attentive. The location is good.

The reception staff were not particularly friendly. The Knightsbridge Bar looked lovely in the evening with fairy lights/candles, but it was the same during the daytime and was very gloomy. We booked a meal and live entertainment 1 eve & the senior staff in the bar area would not make eye contact as they were busy and we were left standing around for ages waiting to be shown to our table.

Location and decor

No hot water on any morning of our 3 day stay. However, we have been given a credit for 3 nights to stay again on a B&B basis.
