Palazzo Galletti was a former noble mansion built for a wealthy and famous Florentine family and was transformed in a successful hotel de charme in 2004. We are very fond of art in general, particularly Renaissance and Neoclassic art in Florence. We devoted ourselves to bring back to life the noble mansion of Palazzo Galletti and restore its former elegance. We love working with art experts and artists in the palazzo and periodically host painters and photographers' exhibition. We also love the country side and enjoy our time producing biological wine and olive oil from our farm and properties in the Chianti area.

Located in Florence's historic heart, Palazzo Galletti is only a 10-minute walk to the Duomo and the church of Santa Croce. All the main attactions and museums are walking distance from the Residenza, including Uffizi and Academy Galleries and San Lorenzo market. Our neighbourhood is renowned as the Theatre district and famous for the most important theatres in town, such as Teatro La Pergola and Teatro Verdi. It is a good area to find good restaurants, trattorias and pizzerias, offering typical and real Tuscan meals for reasonable prices. Yummy pasticcerias, in-expensive supermarkets and shops are close at hand. Our favourite places are definitely Osteria Natalino for a light lunch, and San Lorenzo market for some gourmet and slow food shopping.
