Set in Hagi and only 32 km from Akiyoshidai Safari Land, Hagi Kanko Hotel offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The food was to die for (literally), as we were served a kaiseki of different seasonal foods, including an assortment of pufferfish which was very, very delicious. The room was very spacious and tidy with great views of the mountains, sea, and local docks below. Yukata's are provided free of charge. This hotel was one of the most memorable highlights of our trip! We only stayed for a day, but we'll definitely be back to visit again. The staff were cordial and helpful, and the view of the starry night sky from the onsen was wonderful. Transport can be arranged to pick you up from the nearest bus stop, so don't let not having a car stop you from visiting.

Situated in Hikari in the Yamaguchi region, with Murozumi Beach nearby, KAMENOI HOTEL Setouchi Hikari offers accommodation with access to a public bath. The room was big and we like the view in our room. The food for breakfast was delicious.
