I was a bit worried when reading the reviews, but we had a great stay, the room was big enough for us and the kids, we had a nice balcony with view, the staff was friendly, so really we can't complain.
It's also hard to do better when it comes to location, it is right in the center, everything is accessible on foot.
People also complain about the lift, but I found it actually charming, like a piece of history. We were on the top floor so we needed it often and yet it has never been a problem, we never had to wait too long for it.

What a hidden gem. Nancy is a definite must see especially during the Christmas season. Lots of lights everywhere, things to do, neat little shops, and cool places to eat. So glad we stopped over for a couple of nights.

Loved the old town - lots of lovely old buildings and places to explore on foot - and by bus if you wish to travel further afield. The Staff in the Tourist Information Centre were very helpful (located in Place Stanislas) - we bought a City Pass which for us was good value for money. The Covered Food Market (fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and cheese etc) was great and lots of small restaurants and eateries there open for lunch.
We particularly like the Art Nouveau buildings - there is a marked tour to help visitors locate them.
A great place to visit and stay and hope to return!

A highly interesting city with beautiful baroque architecture. Lots to do and see, art exhibitions and museums. Friendly people, very helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer, but the access to our accommodation was so bad, we left early. We have never ever done this before.

We were planning to do a drive through Nancy on our way to Burgundy simply because my name is Nancy.
However, Nancy was a lovely surprise with one of the most beautiful main squares in Europe. There is a lot of green space around where you can rest while touring around. The tourist office offers 2 different audio tours that are very interesting & helpful to get a feel for the settlement and history of Nancy.
Super nice staff; warm welcome, perfect English, responsive for emails and always had a smile. The breakfast is not a super wide range but you can have everything you need. Easy check in and access to the rooms. Clean. Very close to the center of Nancy, 15 minutes walking distance. You need to pay for parking next to the hotel (10 euro/day), but a little bit outside of the city, it could be free. Kitchen is equipped. I was not outside after 8pm, but until that time the area was safe. I would choose this hotel again for sure.
Very agreeable little flat in a very convenient location in Nancy in between station and Place Stanislas, a mere five minutes from the former and seven minutes from the opera. Tidy, clean and well appointed with comfortable sitting room / diner / kitchen and two modest-sized but characterfully decorated rooms. Coffee machine with pods for morning coffee. Automated check-in convenient. Owner stored our luggage after check-out in her nearby flat when we were booked on an evening train back to Paris. Good value.
A perfect location for the tourist on the go - just a short stroll to the city centre.
The atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and elegant, with an "old world" touch.
Our suite (Ming) was well appointed and decorated beautifully.
The breakfast room is sumptuous, and the fare plentiful, fresh, and varied.
The staff are polite, courteous, friendly, and very helpful and the secure parking near the hotel was very convenient.
Secure parking. Large bed. This is a student residence but it was quiet. Don't expect a hotel but there's everything you need. 15m walk into Nancy centre. For breakfast, turn left outside and left at the next junction - halfway down on the right there's a super boulangerie called Cilla's. with good coffee/croissant/pain au raisin etc and great sandwiches when you leave for elsewhere.
we had the honor to be their 1st booking.com guests. the place is beutifuly decorated with nice furniture and equipment. the beds are super comfi. the location is just minutes away from the heart of Nancy and the host is super friendly, kind and helpful. this property was one of the best places I have ever stayed in.!
A lovely small hotel in a perfect location for visiting Nancy located on the hill in the old town. Quiet, boutique style. Good parking. We opted to eat at the hotel. The Chef prepared a very special meal and fine wines were available. All the staff were very welcoming.
It was a stop on the way from The Netherlands to the south of France and it was perfect for a quick stop. Plenty of restaurants around. Staff very friendly. Parking easily available; streetside, parking in front of hotel or nextdoor by the restaurant.
A very cozy hotel, in a good position close to the station. The beds are very confortable, the room is silent. I appreciated mostly the style of furnishing, essential and original.
Very kind personnel.
Good hotel with excellent parking. Staff were very friendly. When I left my glasses behind I got them on my return journey. (Go raibh maith agat.) Nancy has a brilliant square nearby hotel.
Lovely, classic hotel right on the central square of Nancy. Comfortable room, modern bathroom, lovely view, great staff. Mattress perhaps a tad soft for my taste but all excellent quality.
Nice hotel in a good location in the centre of Nancy. The room was quite small but fine for our overnight stay. Staff were friendly, having parking was handy.
