Room was very clean, had all you need. Wifi was easy to connect to. Breakfast had a lot of choice. Had dinner in the evening and was reasonable cost for a hotel, but very good quality. Bruges is a lovely place, small enough to get to know with walking. The shopping is exceptional with many interesting shops selling unusual items and the food is exceptional. The chocolate shops are also very special.

We have been to Bruges a number of times and always find something new to see. There are plenty of bars serving an excellent selection of good beers and wines and there is a variety of good restaurants.
It is easy to get to by road or rail and is a good centre for cycling.

Lovely medieval city with loads of history.
Lovely medieval city with loads of history. If you like walking along narrow cobble stones streets, beautiful medieval buildings, canal walls, museums and Belgium chocolates, waffles and the variety of many delicious Belgium beers, its the place for you. Easy to walk around and navigate. The people are very friendly and helpful. It felt very safe too. Ideal for a city break. One suggestion if you do not want to be ripped off for the price of a beer and food is avoid the Market Square for eating and drinking. Over priced and low quality compared to the many other places minutes away down the side streets. We paid 11.50 euro for a 50cl beer and soon realized this was not the average price. Others nearby were charging anything from 6.50 euro to 7 euro on average and the food and service was better. I would also recommend the Legends of Bruges walking tour. Very informative and a great way to get to know the city.

Bruges was quite busy (very touristy) and this wasn't even the peak of the holiday season. It's an attractive city and therefore, understandably popular, but I found Ghent surprisingly more friendly.
Bruges needs to get its act together and emulate Ghent's excellent Visitor Guide books (printed in the main European languages).

Bruges has a compact town centre and it is easy to walk everywhere. There is a lively main square with elegant buildings on two sides and restaurants with outside seating on the other two.
There are several museums in the town - e.g windmill, chocolate.
Beautiful hotel, felt boutique and luxury at the same time. We stayed on ground floor, room 35. Best bed and mattress. Super comfy, spacious room, super clean, ritual amenities.
Pool area is indoor, warm temperature and small but nice. Breakfast is beautifully laid out and good range.
Location is 5mins walk to city centre through the shopping street. Parking available on hotel site,25€ for 24hrs or Intercity carpark which is 200m walk at 15€ 24hrs.
Staff exceptionally especially the you guy with big curly hair. Sorry didnt get his name
The rooms were decorated impeccably and the hotel bar had a great selection of drinks with a gorgeous Art Deco sitting room.
The staff were friendly and attentive. They provided some great advice on how to get the most from our time in Bruges.
The location of the hotel is superb. Right next everything in the city centre while being just enough off of the main roads that it provides a tranquil space to pause before heading back out.
The elegant Christmas decorations were the icing on top.
The hotel is highly recommended. The location is very good, only 10 minutes away from the center in a very quiet and secure area. Rooms are cozy and clean, and the bed is the best I've ever tried, best night sleep.
Breakfast is excellent, everything is prepared to perfection.
Overall it doesn't feel like being at the hotel, the mood is more like you went to visit a couple of friends and they're making you feel the best way they can :)
The hotel is in an idyllic location on the canal away from the noise and crowd. It's a short way away from the sights of Bruges. The breakfast was brilliant with different fresh bread and fruits, meats and cheeses and a boiled egg if you so desire. The city of Bruges is a wonderful place and I would recommend it to anyway wanting to have a short getaway. This hotel was a wonderful part of the experience
The room for 2 was actually 2 adjoining rooms with 2 queen beds! So spacious, very comfortable rooms, good, firm beds, they even give coffee and tea, welcome chocolates and a bottle of Belgium beer! Great location, near train station and near town centre. You never see any staff tho, no one at counter or at the breakfast room. But they respond quite fast thru the app. Defintely recommend this place.
A great place where to sleep!
We stayed one night in the room and we had a great time.
Johannes, the owner, is very kind and available. He gave us many information and tips to enjoy Bruges the best.
The room is clean and simple, it has everything you need to spend a comfortable night/s.
The position is perfect, just 5 minutes walk from the city centre.
I felt very safe and I totally recommend it!
Having stayed at several hotels in Bruges the Casselburgh is by far the best, its location is ideal near to shops the main square and restaurants. The building is magnificent, the old part retaining historic architecture .The rooms in the old part are spacious and decorated to a very high standard. The breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of fare catering for all.
Great hotel with all the conveniences needed if you're visiting Brugge by car. Very convenient and cheap parking at the hotel, while the city centre is still walking distance. Tip: Make sure you make your booking on your mobile in the app (we got a cheaper rate than on PC) and make sure you get your parking ticket validated for the cheap tariff when checking out.
Lovely old hotel in the historic center of Bruge. It is an easy 15 minute walk from the train/bus station. During our April visit, there was a free shuttle to the main square from the train station, which makes the walk even shorter. Staff was very helpful, and the breakfast was among the best we enjoyed on our trip.
Location is excellent. The hotel is situated 10 minutes from the city centre. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They gave us the detailed information about the city and the must-see places. The breakfast was also very good with an awesome coffee.
The location was perfect, right in front of the cute canal. It's very calm and quiet area but it only takes a few minutes on foot to the city centre. We only used it once though, free bike rental is available at the hotel which we really appreciated. We definitely recommend dinner at Tom's diner !
Location is really good for this price: just 20 minutes by foot to the city centre. Parking, which is nearby is the cheapest, you can find (only 6 euro per day), railway station is just 3-5 minutes from the hotel. The cost for a dog is also very reasonable (5 euro a day).
One of the best hotel experience in my whole life.
The breakfast was delicious, the room was gorgeous, all the little details made my stay so much special. No doubt this is the best place to stay in Bruges
It a very good location and the hotel its cozy and comfortable. Rooms are small and well equipped.
Its located in a very good place to take bus and be at city Centre.
