Very quiet situation, wonderful rooms (we booked the two suites), beautifully decorated and with a nice view. Personel was delightful, even though they mostly work for the restaurant, and everyone has been charming and cery, very helpful. Please do stay at the Villa Monceau if you have the chance!

My first stay (end of February) was exquisite, the service was great (reception, restaurant) and it wasn’t too crowded. The food at the restaurant was nice and the gym, pool and sauna services were nice experiences. The scenery and forest made it a nice place to reconnect to nature and walk.
Clean: the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable.
For easter: it was nice to receive a little packet of Easter eggs, although we received only one while there were two of us for the stay it was still a lovely and appreciated surprise.
Free access to the gym, pool, sauna and hammam.
Restaurant: the decor was lovely and there was even a pianist playing during my second stay. Food was nice however the menu options seemed limited and had few enticing healthy options from what I remember. I did enjoy the orders I made.
Massage: I also booked paid massages sessions at Cinq Mondes. The experience was nice. I booked it separately from my stay but it can be booked together. The available slots seem limited or go fast so I call recommend booking in advance.
Note on accessibility: Once I reached the address, I still had to drive a little before getting to the entrance gate. Hence, I would not recommend doing that distance by foot with luggages. It is preferable to go by car if you’re not from the area because it is very difficult to access via public transport and I saw in other comments that taxis were expensive.
There are a lot of parking spaces available.
I loved my first stay so much, I came back during Easter (End of March), however the service was unfortunately subpar during my second stay.
Booked this last minute as a weekend getaway after our marriage. Only found out it was linked with a very fancy restaurant when we arrived.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
We got the chance to eat the menu of the restaurant in our room, as the restaurant was of course fully booked.
The breakfast was delicious and plenty.
The rooms are very clean and look brand new.
Very complete breakfast buffet offering anything you desire. The spa was a very nice bonus add-on that we utilised everyday. It made the stay special. We ate one evening at the in-hotel restaurant. 'Genval les Bains' on the outdoor terrace. It was very nice with great cuisine.
The Manoir is an old mansion converted to a number of classic hotel room. it’s part of the Château du Lac, where we’ve stayed before. The room was equipped with every expected item. Classic decorations. We made use of the spa in the Château, which was 5 minutes walk.
The hotel is in a good location with great views over the lake. The hotel frontage does look very grand, although our room overlooked the back of the hotel and that area looked quite unloved. Plenty of parking and several EV charging points.
The venue was wonderful and the surrounding countryside provided us with a peaceful week-end. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We will be recommending Martin's Genval venues to our family and friends.
Conference at the hotel, went really well and all activities supported by the Hotel seemed to go very well.
Nice areas, like the lounge and Restaurant.
Nice and very supportive staff.
I really loved the vintage feel of the Hotel. You really get the feel of a vintage boutique hotel. The room was quite cozy and spacious. It is a great place to stay if you travel with a car.
