I like how clean and clean smelling the facility was. Clean looking and clean smelling are two different things😁 It was clean from the lobby, to the stairs, elevator and specially our rooms. We all had a good night sleep. It is right across the public market but surprisingly it was not noisy at all. I also loved their bed matress. The reception and dining staff were friendly too, including the night guard. They allowed us 30min early check in, which I loved the most😍

I am for sure be coming back to cheack out some more places I miss to visit.

It would be nice to have stanchion signs at the entrance of the hallways asking people to be quiet as they go down the hallway so others sleeping will not be disturbed. Also, if the guard on duty hears hallway noise, they should try to correct the situation.

A traffic light/stop sign would be amazing in Dumaguete.
A traffic light/stop sign would be amazing in Dumaguete. It's a busy place and when driving you have to have your head on a swivel. Head over to Lee's Market, where you can shop forever. The plaza on the water is amazing at night...Sunday nights are off the hook...food stands, music, karate competition...bustling with positive energy.
If you want the finest fish in the world, head over to the wet market, where you can score pretty much anything you need to satisfy your seafood needs.
Other than that? Dumaguete should only be visited if you have business.
Hotel is a new hotel in Dumaguete . It is very clean with small facilities small pool in nice garden small coffee shop
area for breakfast and other meals.
It is in a good location not far from waterfront and bars and clubs all Walkable.
Good value for money.
All Trykes (tuk tuks) know where it is usually 50-10 pesos to get home .
Decent beaches are 30 mins away and waterfalls the same.
Our stay was wonderful, the whole team put so much effort into making sure we had everything we needed - letting us check in early, arranging cabs, and an amazing tour to Apo Island. It truly exceeded our expectations, our Cabana was lovely and the whole place is a beautiful serene retreat in a busy city. Would absolutely recommend, and hope to return or visit their sister hotels in the future.
When we arrived the staff very helpful and welcoming, the place is a little out the way to the town's nearby, however we asked the staff to help us get transport, no problems they organised the transport for you, even got me a local SIM card, we was impressed to the details they done for us. To eat not a problem as you can order with Grab, to travel to the city only ₱200 each way not bad.
Value for money! In this day and age money is very important. BE SMART! Dont pay for overpriced hotels that offer the same basic service. This is simplicity at its finest. Good rooms, aircon, service with a smile and that all comfy bed to sink into after a long flight. At the end of the day, we all experience sleep, you'll sleep sounder with financial peace of mind.
Location is actually just back behind the city proper. It's quite near town, so its pretty good. Marie, is exceptionally outgoing and talkative and attentitive to giving you what you need. She offered me water when i walked in and coffee in the morning. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The house is nice. and the dogs are cute.
I like how very accommodating the staffs are and especially the old lady for assisting me in my needs during my stay in the hotel. The kitchen equipments are superb. The toilet and showers are clean. You can also have laundry here. This hostel will make you feel home in Dumaguete.
golden gate has been my choice when staying in dumaguete. The location is at the center of everything, few blocks away from the boulevard, they have 7-11 right below the hotel, across of it are nearby pharmacy, market (where you can buy budbud - their delicacy) and places to eat.
Great value. Location is good, 10 min walk to seaside promenade or plaza city center; short tricycle ride to bus terminal or Robinson’s mall. Room is small but good enough for a short layover. WiFi a/c hot water security guard all good. Staff are very nice and helpful.
I liked how it's close to the city center, but still far enough to not have traffic there all day. Also it's clean, and the staff are super friendly and very much willing to help with what we need.
And the room lights are adorable, making the place a more cozy vibe.
The room was spacious and the interior design was spot on. It really gives you a warm feeling like you're at home. They also have a restaurant downstairs. The location was also near the center of the city. Every nice place was just one motor ride away.
I love the fact that there's two rooms. That was our deciding factor plus it was near lantaw dumaguete so breakfast buffet is just a walking distance.. So the location is perfect if you plan to explore dumaguete city
I really love Hotel Nicanor. the family room was really great and huge. I Love it because of its affordability, and cleanliness. and ofcourse and the location was really great. indeed, at the heart of the city .
The location was excellent. Within the city center but not in a busy and crowded area of the city. Near to Siliman University, 6 mins away from the Bamboo Sparadise Spa, and 4 mins away from Robinsons Mall.
I think it is one of the best options in Dumaguete. The rooms are nice and clean and of sufficient size. The hotel seems to be quite new. There is a 7-Eleven in the same building.
