It was clean , comfy and picturesque. The mattress in the main room was too hard for me and the stairs were steep . But they were little things that didn’t detract from our experience. The meals in the pub were good and filling

It's a small town on the upper Thames with an 18th-century bridge. Buscot Park (National Trust) is less than three miles away, and Kelmscott (once the home of William Morris) not much further. His friend Burne-Jones's pre-Raphaelite stained glass can be seen in Buscot church.

A lovely place to stay right on the banks of the river Thames. The room was clean and comfortable with the best tea and coffee making facilities I've ever seen. If I could offer some advice it would be to upgrade the lighting in the room as it did feel a little dark.Very happy with my stay thank you.
Staff and service was excellent. We got a flat tire one night and they were able to assist us with booking AA the next morning. The property was gorgeous and tucked away in a quiet town. The room was spacious, warm, and clean. We were able to drive to our room to drop off/pick up our heavy luggage. Breakfast was delicious and they served generous portions. We enjoyed our walk around the property and the garden tour.
The location is stunning as was the accommodation.
Free parking was great and next to the entrance to the hotel.
Amazing room, 4 poster bed, Chesterfield chairs, fireplace and glorious stonework walls. The roll top bath was a lovely bonus.
Friendly barman wished us well when checking out.
If you love history & medieval rooms this is for you.
Loved it.
the food was delicious, the breakfast especially was superb.
the morning staff were very friendly and helpful. a dark haired girl on the evening who I think
may have been kitchen staff was absolutely lovely.
dog friendly, with lots of walks in the local area.
the general cleanliness was excellent, and the cleaning lady was also lovely.
The room was a four poster and perfect for our last minute decision to have an extra night away.
Very comfortable with adequate facilities but bags of history (The Swan is the oldest pub in Lechlade!)
Situated in the High Street, there is very easy access to all amenities and only a 10 minute walk to the River Thames.
Perfectly located and well equipped accommodation. Very clean and tidy, We used it for a small family reunion and there was plenty to do in the area and it was not far to travel to either Lechlade or Burford, both very attractive towns. We'll definitely recommend it to friends.
The house is in a good location to access the lovely town of Lechlade and other attractions such as the wildlife park. The rooms are good sizes, the back room is nice and the shower is really powerful. The litlle bottles of shampoo etc and the hamper were a nice bonus.
Beautiful hotel in the picturesque Cotswolds. Room was lovely and bed was super comfortable. Loved the extra touches of homemade snacks in the room, negronis and hot water bottle at night. Restaurant was also great and staff were very helpful.

Non chain old hotel, with friendly and competent staff, excellent towels, an interesting and great value prepaid breakfast, good pub food for dinner with daily specials. Lovely meadow garden down to river.
We stayed in the garden cottage, a very nice room at the back of the courtyard. Facilities were good and the breakfast options were great and very tasty! We can also highly recommend the homemade cakes!
The rooms are very spacious and very nicely furnished. There is everything you need. The beds are big and very comfortable.
Breakfast is also great and the staff is fantastic and extremely friendly.
The room was lovely, with loads of character.
Very comfy bed, slept really well.
No breakfast as the kitchen was closed but we were directed to a really nice place very close by.
