Pre ordered breakfast and time which worked for us as we wanted to leave ASAP to get on the mountains. Breakfast was wholesome and well presented. Amy and James were amazing hosts and very knowledgeable on the local area. Lake view is outside llanberis but busses pass by regularly and are really cheap.

If you like nature and walking, this is the place for you. Stunning and we particularly liked the walks around the Llanberis lake and up to the waterfall. There are some shops in the village but it is not that well equipped for proper food shopping. However, we arranged a food delivery from Asda which arrived promptly.

Llanberis is ideally located for the easiest walk or train...
Llanberis is ideally located for the easiest walk or train up Snowdon, our main reason to stay here. Many other more difficult walking options are a short car or bus journey away, be warned the popular car parks fill up very early in the day and some like Pen-Y-Pas must be prebooked and are very expensive. A few miles further away there are an almost infinite list of other walking routes that will be much less crowded. Be warned that none of the routes up Snowdon are easy, you should be fit and prepared for cold wet and foggy weather, any time of the year. Llanberis has a few shops, pubs, cafes and restauraunts although when we stayed in late March many were closed, I guess the season starts after Easter.

Llanberis is the ideal location to start your trip up to Llanberis path to Snowdon. We were also able to walk to the Slate Museum & Dolbadarn Castle. If you want to get the train to the top of Snowdon, the station is located in a visible easy to reach location, with a car park about 1 minute walk away. Also, just off the high street we found a beautiful waterfall named Rhaeadr.

LLanberis is beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay there.
LLanberis is beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay there. If you're there to see the sights, make sure you're traveling all around Snowdonia! In particular, some of the northern region has amazing landmarks, such as Corfe Castle.
There's a bus service that can transport you around the area - we stayed in the YHA in Pen Y Pass, and caught the bus from there to the nearest cheap car park in the morning to save some money.

I would have preferred a walk in shower with a bigger room. The hotel was very welcoming and breakfast was excellent. Plenty of space in the hotel to relax in .Good car parking space and to Snowdonia railway.,Plenty of walks and overall a pleasant relaxing stay. We would certainly return.
Good spot, easy stroll into Llanberis, where you can pick up the regular Sherpa buses. Food was ideal post walking food - great beer, lovely home made flat breads, burgers and pizzas as well as veggie curry option which was lovely. Our en suite room was cosy with everything you need. There was a residents lounge, with maps and books. All in all, excellent value. Very hospitable host, made good suggestions for our trip. We will come back and would recommend to anyone wanting to walk or climb in this beautiful area.
Breakfast was good, well-cooked and tasty. A few more options would have been appreciated e.g. fresh fruit and natural yogurt.
Our room was lovely with views across the front garden and the main road through Llanberis.
Location was first class being a short walk to the Snowdonia Railway Station, the Slate Mine Museum, Castle and the Lake Steam Railway.
We enjoyed watching the squirrels that live in the front garden.
Great location for exploring Snowdonia and the surrounding area. Close to amenities in Llanberis. Short walk to Snowdon Mountain Railway and the start of the Llanberis Path, also less well-known walks such as Mount Eilio. Key in coded box for easy access, free fast WiFi, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds.
The hotel is at very beautiful and very convenient location. The snowdonia mountain railway, lake padarn, lake railway, slate museum, all is within walking distance. The staff was welcoming, rooms were clean. The bar and restaurant has good menu, the food was good. Breakfast was delicious and many options.
The look is deceiving. Looks a little like a large house. It's very homely. The staff are very welcoming and informative. The breakfast is amazing as is the homemade pizza. We would definitely book this hotel again for our next walk up Snowdon or any North Wales visit. Cannot praise the place high enough.
The staff here were great. Friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They have got things well organised. It's great base to explore North Wales and climb the Llanberis Path up to the summit of Snowdon. The breakfasts were hearty and would fill you up for the entire day. Rooms were comfortable.
Very clean and lovely little place. We have never been to llanberis and we came to hike snowdonia. Our host Holly welcomed us and told us about the area.
Couldn’t fault it. Amazing place if you are looking for a cozy welcoming stay in llanberis.
We will be back :)
Thank you
Brilliant location for exploring Llanberis and snowdonia. Very bright and airy cottage, very comfortable furniture. Everything needed was provided. Check in and check out very simple and easy. Nice outdoor area. Lovely views. Great communication from owner.
The room was clean and quiet and had all the amenities we wanted (coffee, tea, bathroom, towels). The location was perfect for exploring Llanberis and taking the Mt. Snowden Railway.
The contactless check-in went perfectly.
Good location. We had a family room which was perfect for two adukts and a child and at reasonable cost.
The restaurant is pretty good too.
Just a short hike to the Llanberis Track up Mt. Snowdon
The owners who run the hotel are exceptionally kind, friendly and attentive, creating a very friendly atmosphere. Delicious breakfast, cooked to order. Great location for exploring Snowdonia.
Friendly staff. Room was clean. Close to Snowdon Railway station. Left our car at the front the next day so we didn't have to pay parking at the railway as it was close enough to walk.
the location of the property was great, 10 min away from the pyg route to Snowdon. The hosts were wonderfully welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. The room was big/bright and clean.
Best place to stay for climbing Snowdon. Just the right level of comfort considering convenience. Staff helpful and great kitchen cooking up food after a long hike!
