It’s a beautiful town with a lovely port, castle and old town. Easily walkable. Excellent good scene - so much choice and things got all budgets. Parking can be difficult on the town side but there is plenty by the ferry terminal. There are plenty of walks from the town - to the mountains and by the coast. We stayed in the hotel because of a dinner in a very nice restaurant nearby the hotel, restaurant Samaruc, and because of the wine etc. were did not want to drive home. Denia has a nice harbor and boulevard, we were walking, enjoying the weather etc.

Denia is a fantastic place to stay.
Denia is a fantastic place to stay. It has everything the discerning traveller needs from fine dining to takeaway sandwiches. It is very Spanish and you will find a lot of Spanish holiday makers there in the summer months but it never seems too busy. There is plenty to see and do and the castle is worth a visit. The Jamaica Inn is a must see a bar that is over 400 years old and Fuegos is a fantastic steak house! The beaches are long and clean and the sea in September is like walking into a luke warm bath. I booked the hotel because I needed a good place to work. Little did I know is that the restaurant next to the hotel is a bit too much fun ( and loud ) The staff is super friendly and understanding and the owner is clearly very involved in every day things.
