Perfect location - a pretty, family-run property in a lovely, peaceful area - central yet it feels rural. It offers beautiful views across the fields to the ocean beyond, a large terrace, kitchen facilities (in some rooms only) and on-site parking. Staff and family were very friendly, kind and extremely helpful. They immediately responded to any request and epitomise Greek hospitality. A supermarket a short distance away, easy walking to Apollonia or Artemenos and an excellent restaurant just across the road from Nostos add to the convenience of this guest house.

The property has a gorgeous view and the pool area is quite lovely. The breakfast was splendid and the hotel arranged a transfer to the port, which was included in the hotel price. The hotel staff are incredibly helpful and friendly!

The hotel is well located being only a short walk from the port and the beach. The bus stop to the village is across the road. We had a nice room with a large terrace overlooking the bay. However, the shower was small and we did not have hot water. The welcome was good but breakfast did not vary. Not everyone wants toasted cheese sandwiches and hard boiled eggs for breakfast every time. A choice of omelette or other eggs would have been appreciated.BobUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10
Good sized town with plenty of facilities.
Good sized town with plenty of facilities. Steno has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Lots of good more traditional places too along the road. Recommend To Stauri (bakery) Kamariano (gyros) and I Oraia Sifnos (traditional taverna with great terrace at rear). The Alfa on road to Kastro is best supermarket.Nigel MUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

A charming town with lovely artisan shops, bakeries and restaurants. The locals are lovely. This is a good location to be based in while exploring the island. We went in late October so many places were closed due to the off-season but it led to a very tranquil experience. If I were to return I would go in the summer when everything is open. Fully satisfied with the place! Dora is an amazing and polite host. We stayed in her place for 4 days and she let us do a late checkout the last day to arrive on time on the port! The place is exactly like in the photos, rooms are spacious and super clean! The outdour place is actually bigger than it looks and its an amazing place to have your coffee in the morning and watch the view of the island and the sea in the horizon. Even if it is in the center of Apollwnia, the place is very quiet. We definately recommend it and we wish to go back soon.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

We found Apollonia a great centre to stay for exploring Sifnos. Plenty of shops and restaurants, and a good bus service (even towards the end of September) for getting around the island. The Sifnos Trails were lovely for hiking.

We loved staying in this part of the island because there are so many choices for shopping, dining and cocktails. The taxi service in the centre of town is fantastic and the buses are very reliable and comfortable. Perhaps next time we would spend a few nights in beautiful Vathi Beach to get away from the centre for awhile. It is stunning and very laid back.

You can have a splendid sea view from the room or the garden view which is also very nice. We had a jaśmin tree on our terrace and it was really beautiful. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel to go to 3 different beaches. The old town of Apollonia is 5 minutes walk from the hotel and it is very convenient even when it gets dark. It’s a nice little walk into town with a bus stop near by. George was so kind and helpful, explaining to us the island and arranging a taxi for us to the port. The grounds are beautiful, you’ll just want to sit out and admire all the beautiful fruit trees. My advice is to slow down on the island of Sifnos, take all of George’s advice and enjoy all the yummy food.MagenUnited States of America

The property is spotless, comfortable and very well equipped. A very generous ‘welcome basket’ and lots of bathroom products too. This was our first visit to Sifnos and the location of the property was perfect, at the top of the famous Steno, full of beauty, shops, bars and leading us down to the center of Apollonia and on to a Artemonas. Also private parking. We will definitely return to stay here.

Muscha is so nice and welcoming, everyday when we came back to the room a very nice surprise was waiting for us, like jams, ouzo or wonderful home made dessert or cake. I have been to many greek islands. and the stay in Muscha's place was my best vacation.

The room is very clean and comfortable and the extra touches were appreciated such as the complementary coffee, tea and snack basket and the toweling robes and slippers. We knew we could message Maria if we needed anything. The rooms are close to supermarkets, 5 mins walk down steps to the centre of Apollonia and bus stops to other parts of the island.

Lovely patio terrace with a lovely view too. Mr Costas and his wife were unbelievably hospitable! Picking us up and taking us back to the ferry port, surprising us with a free bottle of wine and providing a gorgeous complimentary breakfast. Super close to the centre of Apollonia and there was a bus stop super close by.

We hiked from the hotel and also hired a little car to explore and hike further afield. We walked into Apollonia and into Artemonas for supper. The paths were good enough to return on in the dark with a torch.
