The location and property were perfect for what we needed. The hotel and rooms are as pictured. A comfortable large light and airy room with a mini fridge and air conditioner. The hotel is across from a wonderful beach. Although it's in a tourist location it was quiet and relaxing, which is exactly what we wanted. a small number of bakeries, cafes, bars and restaurants are all nearby. It's not an overcrowded tourist area. There is a bus service to the main town, however worth hiring a car to explore the island.
Ammos Sifnos Village enjoys a location in Platis Gialos, a few steps from Platis Gialos Sifnos beach and a 7-minute walk from Lazarou Beach.

The friendly greeting! The spotlessly clean room with a view. Right on the sandy the beach!! Very peaceful. The welcome basket with lots of coffee, yummy food, and wine. We loved the location and beach area. There were lawn chairs and umbrella available with no additional cost. There was also access to a washing machine with laundry pods. Twenty steps to bus stop. Wonderful stay! The girls (sisters) are so friendly and kind!!!!

The hosts were amazing, always checking we were ok, offering coffee and working tirelessly to make everything clean and tidy. My boys loved the breakfast, but it was too much food for me. Just a 5 min walk to the beach, restaurants, buses and shops. The pool area was great and felt like our own private pool.

We arrived on Sep 28th and left on Oct 2nd. The season in Sifnos ends on Oct 1st so the area was rather empty, however bars and restaurants in Platis Yialos were open. The beach is beautiful and the food is superb. Public buses at the end of the season are spars, and taxis are pricy, so we rented a car for a day when we wanted to visit other places on the island.

Nice place, long sandy beach, calm water.
Nice place, long sandy beach, calm water. Plenty of restaurants, terraces, bars, several mini markets. Good prices, great food. My choices are Steki for a traditional dinner (incredible good price) and NUS for a sophisticated one.
Very clean place, nice buildings, beautiful view.
Personal overall impression: traditional, but without feeling it old.

Beautiful little place on the beach.
Beautiful little place on the beach. The village runs along the beach front. Plenty of restaurants and bars available in small area. Full range. Not many tourists shops but that’s fine by us. Very laid back feel and friendly people

Very nice beach although too expensive for the travelers as well as for the hotels guests. Actually the premises ask guests to pay 40euros for every day rent for 1 sun umbrella and 2 beds. The food was quite expensive too.
To sum up, very nice Greek Island and very attractive beach in Platis Yialos although quite expensive.

Our place Le grand blu apartments were lovely and rustic.
Our place Le grand blu apartments were lovely and rustic. Spacious and beautiful view of sea and marina of Platis Gialos. Our hosts Costa & his wife were very gracious and lovely and always asking if things were well for us. This is their family property handed down. They have pride and take care of it as best they can but only thing is that fir my needs there were too many stairs to top unit. Having had hip surgery I should not have booked for this reason. If you want rustic Greek charm that adds a bit of south if France flavor thorn perfect for you and small families.

All was good. Maria and all of the staff were great.
All was good. Maria and all of the staff were great. They worked hard to make our stay totally enjoyable. The island is safe. The beaches are from a picture postcard. There are many good places to eat. We took Fabio's day long boat trip , which was so good. Next time we plan for a longer stay. Best vacation we had in years.
Great breakfast, great room, comfortable and very clean. The beach abutted the hotel, had water so clean and clear we had to go swimming each day. There is a restaurant attached that is very good. Maria, our host was amazing. She made sure that everything was running smoothly and we were enjoying ourselves. Indeed, when we wanted to take a tour of the island but no rental cars were available intown, she said take my car the keys are in it, free of charge. The island is safe. We will be coming back.
Amazing hotel. Fantastic location steps away from a world-class beach, but elevated to give a sense of privacy and exceptional views. The rooms were well designed and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent. We stayed at other hotels twice the price and didn't like them as much as we loved Niriedes. Highly recommend. There was private parking, too. Our room was two levels, which gave us space to move around, lounge, and set out our luggage.
Penelope seaside house is in an exceptional location! The beach is right at your front door. The house is cute, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. It is close to restaurants and everything you need for your stay at Platis Yialos Sifnos beach. Our host was an excellent communicator and made sure we had everything we needed as well as answered all our questions. I can hardly wait to return!
The atmosphere in the apartment is slightly retro and very typically Greek - and we liked that. Quiet and peaceful. Very clean - cleaning was daily. Perfect Wi Fi, vast space to park a car. Very close to a perfect sandy beach, lots of tavernas and 3 minimarkets nearby. The woman who welcomed us and took care of us was so welcoming, smiling, and always ready to help. We already miss that place.
Kind helpful staff who provided information and change facilities prior to moving into room.
The place is newly refurbished, clean and right in front of the beach. Location is amazing, in probablythe best seafront of Sifnos.
We were provided with a basket with some food and coffee even though breakfast is not normally included.
Great picturesque location with views from balcony across bay and beach. Staff were wonderful and made our stay very enjoyable. Great to stay at a family owned hotel now managed by 3rd generation member. We were lucky to stay at the start of the season as it felt like we had the island to ourselves. Thoroughly enjoyable!
We had a great time at Elisso Villa! Simple, no frills accommodation, with excellent price-value ratio. Amazing location, a stone’s throw away from the beach and Platis Gialos’ food and drinks offerings. Perfect base to explore Sifnos. Elisabeth was extremely kind, available and helpful. We will certainly be back!
Amazing location, amazing venue, an incredible staff, which just made it even better. Location was perfect, across from the beach and very close to a few very high quality restaurants. The place was perfect for our stay, and my only regret is that we didn't stay an extra few days. Next time for sure.
The location was great right across the road from the beach. The room was spacious and the pillows and bed were very comfortable. Cleanliness was top notch. There’s a yoga/Pilates class on site and plenty of restaurants nearby if you don’t want to eat at the hotel. Loved the styling of Verina Terra.
Very homey family run hotel. Staff was super sweet and friendly. Breakfast was amazing, best Greek yogurt and all kinds of jam.
Quite a lot of rooms but doesn’t feel crowded.
Super close to one of the beaches with good restaurants and bars.
Territory is super clean, bedsheet are crispy clean.
The hotel was beautifully finished to a high standard. Our room was lovely with two balconies and wonderful sea and harbour views. Thanos was an excellent host and the breakfast was amazing. There was a lovely small pool which was relaxing to sit by after a day on the beach
Well kept hotel, beautiful landscape and Greek feel all around.
The location is ideal, a 5/7min walk to the beach and seconds away from the bus stop to explore other villages.
The hosts were so sweet, always smiling and helpful.
The location at the end of the beach was great. There were plenty of sun beds and chairs. The staff was delightful! Everything was clean and well-maintained. The food was fresh and tasty. No complaints at all!
Beautiful room, very clean with everything that you need. Amazing location only 2 min walk to the beach. The hostesses was amazing and help us with everything we needed, we will definitely stay there again!
Exceptionally clean and comfortable, a short walk to the beach. Very good value. Good internet. Works well as a base for all Sifnos. Parking on site so easy with luggage
Located on one of the nicest beaches in Sifnos, 10m from the sea. Nice common area for drinks and breakfast, nice sun beds on the beach. Super friendly staff.
