This is one of the best hotels I visited in my entire life. Exceptional service that makes you feel at home, not in a hotel. Food and wine were outstanding and the staff hospitality and attentiveness was on the highest level. I cannot think of even one thing that bothered us. Everything was perfect.

The beach was good; ideal for small children.
The beach was good; ideal for small children. The water is waist high at most for a long way out - plenty of small fish swimming around. As its a cove there is not a lot of space on the beach close to the water and can imagine at busy times it may feel a bit claustrophobic. The walk down from town is very steep. Theres two ways, a long sloping road, or a steep set of steps. I preferred the steps as there were no cars and it was shorted albeit steeper.
Food and drink was decent and reasonably priced albeit nothing special. I wouldnt recommend cala 'n porter for a culinary experience but it was good enough that i was happy with all my meals. Casa Tia Tapas was my favourite overall. Samoa was my favourite of the big restaurants.
The people everywhere were very friendly and spoke excellent english - kudos locals as my spanish is very basic!
The apartment complex we stayed in was exactly what we needed - two bedrooms and a shared living space which allowed us to put our daughter to bed and have some space that wasnt our room.
Everything is pretty close by in the town - supermarkets were good too
Overall - a week is perfect - its a nice place - but I think after a week I'd have got bored and wanted a beach with waves and more sand and just bigger. Ideal for what I wanted for this holiday though which was a cheap easy family break with a two year old. Definitely recommend it.

Cale’n Porter is like a big housing estate.
Cale’n Porter is like a big housing estate. There’s nothing particularly wrong with it. But it lacks the charm and character of other places on the island. Also, the beach had a dreadful sewage smell the afternoon we went. We definitely wouldn’t go back

Nice area, very clean. Quite hilly.
Nice area, very clean. Quite hilly. Hard work for people with walking problems. Hiring a car is best if you want to visit other areas or go on organised trips. Beach in this resort is very difficult to get to if you don't have a car. Only way down is by a steep set of steps and go on forever. Unless you are fit and not worried about heights I wouldn't suggest trying it. Going down is hairy going back up would be a killer.

Great little resort with a fantastic beach.
Great little resort with a fantastic beach. We went at the end of September and most of the restaurants and shops had closed down for the season. We drive around the island to see other resorts and will probably opt for Cala Galdana next time due to easy beach access and more facilities.

The resort of Cala'n Porter is very nice but may not appeal to younger travellers who may want a disco town. There are a few nice places to eat out and a few bars. One of the hotels put on some live entertainment. The beach is the big attraction. It is clean, well looked after and a very nice place to go for a swim.
Exceptionally clean, located a short walk from bars and restaurants so its not too noisy at night. Close to supermarket. Felt very secure and the decor in the main entrance was fresh and stylish. New TV and new air con, bathrooms looked new and all decoration fresh, no signs of wear and tear. It's easily hotel quality with a few adjustments, and can't complain about anything that was there... It was just quite a lot of things weren't there!
The staff is very friendly and the hotel is a place where you can relax and enjoy the sun, the sea and the pool. The room was very clean and was equipped with everything. I told the staff, two days before, that it was a special occasion for me and my boyfriend and they surprised us with a room with sea view and a bottle of prosecco. I was feeling so emotional and happy. Thank you for everything, you made our special day so special.

Club Menorca’s location was fantastic. It sits about a 10-15min walk down to the stunning beach which is definitely worth spending a day or two at. Kayak and paddle board shops are nearby as well as good local spots to eat. The staff, especially Ricardo and Poppy, at club Menorca were incredible!
The hotel was quirky and charming. The staff were lovely - very helpful and friendly. The room was small, but had a fantastic view and was clean and functional. Very conveniently located for all the facilities of the town, within walking g distance, but with the best view of the bay and beach.
Best location close to the main beach, a lot of parking space nearby, good breakfast, clean rooms, hotel has its own restaurant, which I very much liked! There is also an outdoor food-truck near the entrance serving good food and drinks! The staff are friendly and helping!
Great location if you are just going to beach, off season very quiet town and lots of things closed, very residential so not much to do in town and didn't love being alone at any restaurants there. Hotel is great and relaxing, good price, good for solo female traveler.
The staff made this lovely little hotel, so friendly and helpful! Great location perched up on the hill, with easy access to the beach by nearby stairs. Gorgeous pool, clean air conditioned rooms and definitely try the hotel’s restaurant for dinner. Amazing food!
location and pool area of the hotel. The room had a full sized dining table and kitchen with all necessary amenities for an apartment. Beach towels were available. There were lots of restaurants walking distance. They let our group check in earlier.
Stunning hotel, everything is so well maintained and there was so much attention to detail. Lovely breakfast and the pool area is amazing.. huge pool and very comfy beds. It was so peaceful and quiet.
Menorca is incredibly magical, and this was a great home base from which to explore the island. We had plenty of room and it was comfortable and a good location. Quiet and clean.
The hotel's breakfast was decent overall, but the savory options were disappointing. Unfortunately, wasps disrupted our outdoor meal, although it was beyond the hotel's control.
We came in October so resort quite quiet which suited us. Lots of bars and restaurants. Great live music at the hotel. Amazing helpful staff, couldn’t fault it.
The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, the food of their restaurant is good with great view over the beach. The hotel overall was very clean and nice.
