The hotel was so comfy that it felt like home away from home! The location cannot get any better and is right at the bridge of the Aare river, offering stunning views. Everything you need is at your door step- restaurants for delicious local food, leafy forests for hiking, and beautiful old city centre for shopping/ tourism. The living space itself is beautiful- historic with a modern twist. There is an entrance hall, living room with a comfy sofa, 2 lovely bathrooms with large beautiful modern showers, a comfortable kitchen with a fridge and a coffee machine (which makes delicious coffee 24/7), a bedroom with a closet, a small adjusted tv room, and a beautiful spiral staircase. As per other reviewers, there were a lot of tourists around the hotel during the busy hours of the day, but it did not disturb us. The rooms in the first floor, including the bedroom, are well- hidden from the view. The rooms in the ground floor area (kitchen & living room) have transparent window curtains, which do a perfect job of preserving your privacy, while allowing light inside. The noise levels were minimal on the ground floor and almost non-existent on the 1st floor, where the bedroom is. Towels in the bathrooms were large and soft, and you also get slippers and bathrobes. The place is very clean and tidy with daily housekeeping visits. There also were loads of windows, which was great for airing. Breakfast was good, and was delivered contactless to your door in cute boxes and bottles. It included traditional Swiss selection of regular cold meats, cheeses, breads, fresh milk and yogurts, croissants, granola/ cornflakes, juices, and at times also fresh fruit platters with strawberries etc. Throughout the stay, we felt very welcome and well taken care of- the hotel staff went above and beyond. A special thanks to Sara, and to the rest of the team who have made this stay unforgettable! P.S. Watching bears was also a bonus!

I’m very impressed with kooook. 1.the location is very good which is just next to the hotel. 2.kitchen, I had a studio room type and they have kitchen in the room with full furniture eg. pan, knight, electric cooker, and etc. but if you cook in your room it may smelly. they also provided kitchen with dining table at f.8 so I can enjoy it. they also provide seasoning like salt, pepper, papica and etc. 3.staff read and reply question pretty quickly and very supportive to simple questions 4.bed is fit for 2 adults 5. it’s coop next door but I was there on Sunday which they closed!! you can go migros at Bern anyway.
