A wonderful resort in the most picturesque part of Castro. Owner Julio makes one feel very welcome (and even speaks fluent Swedish), and the breakfast is top notch.

Really amazing view (sea and palafitos), nice pallet heater/chimney. Kitchen for small preparations of food. The pans only allow small portions, but it works for Spaghetti or Omelette for two. The breakfast changes from day to day. It is basic, but good. We had avocado and croissant one day, the other day we had donuts. Always there were toast, cereals, jam and eggs for own preparation. Hair dryer, refrigerator, toaster,microwave, water cooker, … it is all there. There is even a small balcony. The staff even cleaned the used dishes and the heater/chimney during our stay. Everything was clean and the water in the shower was hot. Water pressure 7/10, but good enough.

the location. the view of Castro inlet. the spaciousness of the apartments. house on stilts leaning ove the water. the kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the staff very helpful.

getting to stay in an actual palafito during our stay in Castro added to our visit to Chiloé. the apartamento was clean and had all the amenities needed to make our stay enjoyable. the terrace on the water made it memorable

Surprisingly bad rating on booking.com for what it is. Very comfortable and clean accomodation with great price. Highly recommend!
