It's on a side street that's a cul de sac. When you come out the door, if you turn right, you walk into the old castle full of lovely little street with cafes, restaurants, and shops. If you turn left, there is a beautiful walk along a canal/river bank. Everything is within walking distance. I took 2 taxis while I was here. 1 from train station to apartment for Eur11 and 1 to the airport for Eur22.00. Both fares were about right for distance travelled. The apartment was easy to access, key left in a lock box, there are a few steps (approx 8 to 10)inside the door leading up to the apartment door, but they are easy to manage. The furniture is very comfortable, especially the sofa and armchair.. The shower is excellent. Good supply strength and plenty of hot water on demand. The mattress and pillows were tops for comfort. The old bridge is a 4 minute walk. I wasn't mad about the new yown or the square. There wasn't much to do or see in the area. The canal and old city were the best spots. Really enjoyed the boat trip on the canal. Worth every penny. Didn't need to rent a bike. Maybe next time. The two little cakes on arrival were perfect touch. Also the additional supplies, rice, pasta, salt, spices, oil, tea and coffee. Thank you. I highly recommend and would stay here again without hesitation.
