There is a town close by but the drive is a bit scary. If you want to relax this is perfect. There is also another beach in walking distance to the south that the locals use and is very nice

Las Teresitas Beach can be easily reached on foot (about 10-15 minutes), but we went by car, as there were always free parking spaces near the beach (late September-early October).
