We made a last minute reservation at Martinihof. When we arrived the owner had not yet seen our reservation but he greeted us in a vert kind and welcoming way. We felt at home right away! We were tired and hungry. The owner showed us the room and said that we were more than welcome to join for diner. He had a nice menu with various dishes: meat, fish and vegetarian. We had fish and meat and both dishes were delicious! Also the salad was fresh and crispy. Room was well equipped and very clean! The beds were very comfortable. And the fresh air from outside made us sleep like babies!

The place was lovely, we highly recommend it! Peter and Barbara are really sweet people and we enjoyed meeting them a lot. Excellent location for a weekend getaway with your family or other loved ones. Oh, and did I mention it's pet friendly? :)

Location is perfect, just by the lake with a private beach. We could hop on bikes just in front of the building, the road connects to the main cycle paths. A market and restaurants within 5 mins walking distance. Nice terrace for each room. The room gets cleaned every day and overall the owners are really nice.
