Our hostess was really helpful; we arrived late on a Sunday and she phoned round to find a restaurant for us (in Rocamadour, back along the precipitous, windy roads we had driven to get there!) What an INCREDIBLE place. This historic character property is nestled in the French countryside overlooking a beautiful river. This old mill house has been lovingly restored by the owners with great attention to detail. The grounds are spectacular with ancient stone architecture, beautiful flowers, and a river to lull you to sleep. Possibly the only thing that surpasses all that is the amazing hosts. You couldn’t find a better couple to share this magical place.
