An interesting old house within walking distance of the centre of Pau. We especially liked the setting with mature palms and a forest of large bamboo. The rooms were very large and comfortable with en-suite bathrooms. Kitchen facilities with fridge were available to guests. Breakfast was excellent, and plenty of it, with good bread, home-made preserves.

Gorgeous location: quiet, peaceful, scenic. Lovely pool but not enough time to enjoy. Lovely breakfast served by a very pleasant and informed host. Only sorry not have been there when it was warmer (!)

Boulangeries and small supermarkets also within 5 minutes to pick up breakfast supplies. While the area around the apartment is clearly a bit tired it still seemed safe and quiet. Parking was close by in private, secure, covered garage which was very convenient. However, if you have anything bigger than a smaller-sized city car your parking skills will be put to the test ;-)CCillianFamily with young children

Easy access to the centre of Pau, either by walking or by the excellent busway nearby. The host, Sophie, was helpful and welcoming throughout. Breakfast was great with fresh local produce and many homemade items.
