Absolutely fantastic place to stay in st Wolfgang. The host was a warm, courteous person who helped us a lot and lent us bicycles! The rooms are very clean and cozy, especially the lake view room view is amazing. Also the hotel has the best value for money in the town with quiet spaces and a convenient location. Highly recommend this hotel with lake view!

Situated 1 km from Lake Wolfgang, the Batzenhäusl is a 5-minute drive from the Zwölferhorn Cable Car. You can enjoy regional cuisine in the on-site restaurant that received the Gault-Millau award. Overlooking the Lake Wolfgang, the organic farm Hauslhof is a 10-minute walk from the beach and the centre of Sankt Wolfgang. Everything- Beautiful place with amazing view of the lake, the mountains and the hills around with a cute adorable balcony and a garden with goats and horses, a cozy and warm room, equipped kitchen. Great location for those who wish to have their peace and quiet. Just a few minutes ride to the center with a car of a few minutes walk. We stayed for 5 nights and were sorry to leave. The host, Heidi, was friendly and nice.

Situated in a quiet area of Sankt Wolfgang, a 12-minute walk from the centre, Hupfmühle Pension offers a restaurant serving Austrian cuisine and fish specialities. All perfect for us! There is some noise from the river outside, if you keep the windows open, but we slept well anyway (with windows closed you don’t heat any noise!). The place might be difficult for people with reduces mobility, as the road to the house is steep. Good breakfast, best eggs ever, fresh fruit and vegetable every day. The owner is very nice and helpful, giving personalised advices for walks, events and restaurants. The hotel is 10 minutes of walk from the village with many restaurants and shops. We had big and comfortable room with balcony, breakfast out or inside, depending on wether. Nice private beach of the hotel, easy to reach inn10 min of walk, you can swim and paddle on the lake. Correct value for money. I really recommend the place!!!

Landgasthof Leopoldhof features a private beach on the shore of Lake Wolfgang, 100 metres away. We liked the SPA We have been to at least eight SPA locations in Europe. This is by far the best. We liked the location, the beach by the lake, the food very good. The host was welcoming and very attentive to all guests.

Haus Mayerhofer is situated in the centre of Sankt Gilgen, a 5-minute walk from Lake Wolfgang and the Zwölferhorn Cable Car. Free WiFi and free parking are available. What a wonderful little apartment. The shower was great! The bedroom had plenty of room to move around the bed, and the windows had blackout shades. comfortable living room area if you’d like to sit someplace along with a dining table and a kitchen with all the conveniences.  I also appreciated the extras that you could purchase while staying there, like having a load of laundry, done, or purchasing tea or coffee to have in your room while staying there. They also provide a great breakfast each day.

Pension Schlömmer is located 4 km from Sankt Gilgen and has a private beach access to Lake Wolfgang, just 200 metres from the house. It offers for guests a balcony in every room. Staffs were kind and room was clean. And breakfast was absolutely great. Our family was really enjoyed.
