Nice location beside the train station, a bit of a walk to the hikes but easily walkable through the town. We booked a private room, which was a small chalet beside the hostel. Nice and clean with heating inside as it could get cool at night but the heater worked really well. Staff were very nice, there was a power cut when we came but they gave us the room so we could drop our bags and have a rest before checking in.
Featuring the best views of Fitz Roy mountain and Torre hill, Hosteria Senderos offers rooms with free WiFi access in El Chaltén. There is an on site restaurant and a wine bar.

Beautiful town, lots of places to eat and have a beer; know that the weather is extremely unpredictable and hardcore: we had insane winds when we there in beginning of April. We got lucky enough to see Mt Fitz Roy the first day we were there but every day after (3 days) it was covered in clouds, so take that into account for your trip!

Amazing place that can be the base for many adventures!
Amazing place that can be the base for many adventures! We planned our trip to Patagonia leaving more time for El Calafate, but we left thinking we would have preferred to switch this! In El Calafate, everything is much more tourist like and you need to pay for basically every tour you’re going to.
Chalten felt more chilled and like you can just leave the hostel and go do your own thing without necessarily paying for an agency to take you somewhere.
It’s a very charming little place with great food and local beers available, so very cosy and welcoming after a long day of hiking

We loved El Chalten!! The hiking is incredible! And the town is adorable. Love the little local food places. Since the weather is so variable it was nice to have an extra day in our schedule to wait for a clear day for hiking. We all filled it with horse back riding, climbing and birding so no one was bore.

Located under the towering peaks of Fitz Roy, this town is a special place from which to explore the Andes. There are walks to suit all levels of hikers and the landscape is just breathtaking! The people of el Chalten are especially kind and friendly also.
Super nice facility, nice bed and pillows. Has home made bread and champagne for our new year Eve stay. there is a restaurant/living room in the hotel, walking out of our room to have breakfast feels like home.
The English speaking staffs are very helpful, who helped us book taxi and sort out some complicated logistics issue.
Our room can see Fitz Roy from the window, very cool. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t very nice during our stay
This is probably the nicest hotel in El Chalten. It's in a perfect location for walking around and enjoying the town, and provides a luxury experience that a lot of other hotels in the area don't offer. The property itself is beautiful and has all of the amenities you could need. The rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious. And the staff is very friendly and helpful. If I'm ever back in El Chalten I would make it a point to stay here.
The property is one of the few hotels that are within 5 -7 minutes walk from the bus terminal which makes early morning departure easy. The room is a bit old but has been kept in good shape and clean. The front desk staff are excellent especially one lady named Victoria. She speaks excellent English and was very helpful in giving us restaurant recommendations and making us feeling comfortable in this foreign country.
Perfect Place. Very cozy and well equipped Tiny House - we missed nothing. Heater and warm Water made it very easy to stay here. Rebecca was very nice and helpful and gave us very good advices for example for a Taxi from El Chalten to the Tiny House. So we started our hike to Laguna de los Tres at the Tiny House and finished in El Chalten, had a nice Dinner and took the Taxi back to Tiny House - perfect day!
I can say that is really cozy hostel! Perfect cleanliness! Excellent position! Very worm and homely atmosphere, specially during the breakfast time )) Girls from reception have a very personal attitude to towards every client and are really very helpful. Great work! I strongly recommend this hostel for everyone who wants to have a good time in El Chalten! Thank you for hospitality. ))
Location was good but El Chalten is very small so everything is walkable from anywhere.
Simple but nice room (private bathroom double).
Friendly vibe in common areas and guests were respectful towards eachother.
Veggie restaurant adjoining (we didn't try it but it looked nice) guests get 10% off if they pay in cash. The chap who staffed it during breakfast was kind and friendly.
The hosts Marcelo and Laura met me on arrival to hand over the keys and gave me a very warm welcome. Their great hospitality continued throughout, including weather and walk advice. The property is nicely positioned with great views and close to everything in El Chaltén. A very comfortable stay.
Close to the Main Street even if the road to go there is not paved. Close to the hikes. Staff was very nice; could exchange a bit of USD at the best rate in town. Warm rooms. Breakfast was ok but mostly in line with other hotels in town. Possibility to order lunch box for long hikes the next day
The staff, 3 young ladies, were all amazing, helpful, welcoming, and kind. They went out of their way to give advice, make reservations, and provide us a GF breakfast. The best hotel in all of Argentina that we experienced. The ability to borrow poles for the Fitz Roy hike was a God send!
The common area, location, and staff were fantastic. Try and contact the hostel directly book and to pay cash. The town books out in the high season. Booking.com will charge you double (the exchange rate is... Interesting in Argentina). Do the work to figure out the blue dollar.
Everything was 5-star hotel level. Ample, comfortable and clean rooms and private bathroom. Staff always available and very professional. Excellent breakfast and restaurant. Nothing is cheap in El Chalten and this hotel is not an exception, but it is worth it.
Comfortable, clean, good food, good service. Had an issue with a rental service (unrelated to the hotel) and the staff did everything in their hands to help even after i checked out. Great staff. Enjoyed a quartet concert they were hosting.
staff were so helpful with any questions we had and had great suggestions on hikes and places to see. the hotel itself was located in the centre of el Chalten. was very clean and comfortable
We had a lovely time. The facilities and the breakfast are good. We were super happy with the staff. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time in El Chaltén!
There's a large kitchen and common area to use. The personnel is very friendly. It's located in the center (but since El Chalten is pretty small, most of the hostels are ;-)).
Basic chill hotel on the main drag, clean rooms, fabulous shower pressure, friendly and helpful staff, could communicate in Spanish and English, good vibe
This is a beautiful new hotel with an excellent staff. We had a view of the mountains that was breathtaking from our room. The breakfast was excellent.
