Lovely friendly welcome. Upgraded to a comfort room which was bigger, spotlessly clean, well furnished and, of course, comfortable! Evening meal and breakfast very good. Lovely views of snow-capped mountains.

Very nice family-owned hotel in Wals on the outskirts of Salzburg. Quiet neighbourhood. Hotel itself was very traditional, staff helpful and friendly and spoke English. The room was spacious on the 3. floor, but no aircon. Beds were very good and bathroom nice and modern. Breakfast was fantastic with everything - even an omelet station with a chef cooking your omelet to order with your selection of toppings. Evening meal in the restaurant was also lovely and well priced, with local ingredients. All in all a very nice 3-day stay.

It is a residential town so not much atmosphere or amenities other than hotels. It suited us very well as it was very peaceful. Driving or taxi into Salzburg is the best option. Otherwise a bus or taxi to an out of town shopping centre plus a bus from there.
We parked out the out of town shopping centre for dinner and got a parking ticket. It was not well advertised that we should have paid for parking.
Nothing to do with the hotel but be warned!

the staff is amazing
the staff is amazing
To things are subjects for improvement
First
1.enrich the breakfast
2.There is no refrigerator and safe in the rooms, in my opinion this is a big drawback, a hotel with excellent service like the Kammel needs a safe and a refrigerator in the room for the comfort of the guests

Everything! We traveled all around Austria and this was our favorite B&B. Breakfast was fabulous. The mother and daughter hosts are incredible. So kind and helpful. We stayed our first night and knew we wanted to return the following weekend. All rooms were booked, but they told me to email for a cancelation, and sure enough, a room became available and we spent our final 3 nights in Austria here.
We enjoyed our stay a lot. The room was quite spacious, modern and the beds very comfortable. The adult spa area was well appointed and not overly crowded. The hotel is very child-friendly and has a big playground outside. However, almost the entire spa area and the hot tub are only for adults, so it was a shame not to be able to visit all of these areas with our daughter.
Exceptional hotel. Super smart but also family friendly. Amazing facilities - pools, two indoor play rooms, next to a fantastic outdoor park and walks along the river. Beautiful views to the Untersberg. Breakfast buffet selection is great and food/drink from the restaurant also reasonably priced and excellent service. Have been before and will go again.
I rented 3 rooms for myself and family. This is an excellent hotel! The rooms we clean and spacious and the hotel facilities and grounds were modern and clean. The reception and restaurant staff were very friendly. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for regular meal service, but the free breakfast was very good. I would definitely stay here again.
We spent our 30th birthday at Hotel Gabi and it met all our expectations. We read many reviews about how good is the breakfast and indeed it was super super good. All the staff very friendly and they were always of help when we needed tips of where to go, do and eat. Definitely I recommend this place 😀
The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. They made omelets and scrambled eggs fresh for each person, which was a nice touch. However, there were only a few types of fruits available and not much of them. The coffee and bread were really good, though.
A short taxi ride from Salzburg airport (€15)
A wonderful and warm hotel in every respect. The staff are helpful and friendly. The bar and restaurant are great value and the choice is good. Rooms are comfortable and have everything required for a short stay.
