Nice staff. Loved the rain forrest outlook from the balcony. I had dinner at the tavern. Simple adequate menu. Pub food. Speewah tavern is in a quiet, small place, which I chose as I knew I'd be too late to make my Ravenshoe destination.

The rooms were well equipped and very clean. There was a pool and tennis available to use. The rooms are located on acreage and it is a peaceful area to sit down and relax. The owners were also helpful and friendly.

Amazing accommodation & unreal rainforest setting. The hosts, Patrick & Sue, are so welcoming. Their bird collection is fun. My wife sat with their cockatoo on her arm for over an hour whilst we shared happy hour.

Warm welcome, quite location but not too far to centre where there is so much to see and do. There are bars and estaurants in Kuranda, we particularly liked La Petit Cafe. The pool was great for cooling off at the end of a hot day. Would highly recommend it if you like peace and quiet, listening to the wildlife.

Situated 2 minutes' drive from the Cairns Esplanade, the refurbished Hotel Tropiq features accommodation with free WiFi and a balcony, with most offering garden and pool views.

The cook had a strong control and was very strict on her hours of cooking.
We selected Speewah as it was only half hour away from airport.
