I had never been before in Aarschot. But it is a very nice city to visit. Many beautifull housese, old begijnhof... It is not a big city, but from here you can make trips to the surrounding city's, Scherpenheuvel, diest..

The rustic rooms over the river were scenic and relaxing to sit and snack on local cheeses and wine while looking out over the Demer River. The breakfast was very good! Lots of variety from eggs and bacon to brie and cold cuts. Absolutely loved it! Possibility to do a nice 1h walk to Aarschot, or a shorter one in the other direction, also along the Demer river Good price-quality. Ideally some shuttle or taxi service to Aarschot train station should be offered.

The free parking was a bonus and the location enabling us to explore a bit of Aarschot was great.
