The room was immaculate with clean sheets and a really comfortable bed; the bathroom and toilet were separate and were spotless. The room had a fridge which was a great bonus on a very hot week, a balcony that overlooked a wood to the rear of the Hotel and a superb seating area to the front where you could have a drink. The breakfast was superb as was the location and I would like to thank all the staff for running a fantastic Hotel, especially Frederick on reception.

Very nice location, friendly hosts, well equiped, quiet and clean. Really splendid. We stayed over on a last minute decision, and very happy we did find this gem. For sure will come back.

The location and style of the hotel are excellent. Dinner was very, very good. The atmosphere of the hotel and the displays of the uniforms and artifacts of the First World War were lovely.

Just as I expected, a beautifully rural area for relaxing.
Just as I expected, a beautifully rural area for relaxing. It felt safe , was clean and appeared undisturbed by the modern world. Perfect place for regenerating , and recharging, it was energizing. The hosts of B and B were especially congenial and excellent in caring for guests. I felt like family!
