I loved the warm welcome and Janine's assertive service. She made me feel at home immediately and was able to accommodate a last-minute request to host a friend of mine for the night. She was at ease with my pet (a very old and kind of clingy doggie) and Marco felt also welcomed. The rooms and bathrooms are lovely and clean at this property, there is plenty of space for parking. It has a very homey feeling. I got plenty of information from her as per how to go around in the area. The breakfast was excellent and plenty of choices (Janine makes warm meals and eggs in a variety of forms at request) She has snacks, wine, and ice cream available for purchase which is convenient and lovely. All in all, I had a wonderful stay even though it rained most of the time. I can only recommend the BnB and the area.

The food was exceptional. Amazing presentation and the use of local product is to be commended. The wine pairing with the dinner was a bit strange... the rest was so very tasteful.

Asuel is a little, charming community in the Commune de la Baroche area (canton Jura, Switzerland) I loved the fact that the village calm and close to lots of hiking paths, surrounded by nature and water, but also in good distance to medieval cities such as St Ursanne and Pourrentruy which offered a variety of opportunities for the discovery of culture (museums, local crafts, city tours, other) and local gastromonie. Even when I caught rainy weather, I was able to visit different places and areas. I particularly recommend hiking in the Etang de la Gruère (Natural Reserve/Park).
