I love that our hotel was close to the gondolas and the walking trails. There is also paved roads from the train station to the hotel, which made it a comfortable walk with luggage.
The hotel is centrally located and surrounded by a large park. You will find a cheerful and familiar atmosphere combined with best Swiss hotel tradition.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The hosts are taking lots of efforts to please the guests. The stuff is very professional and attentive. It’s a perfect place for families, with easy access to the ski lift where there’s a lot to do for kids. We stayed for the new year night and the party organised by the hotel was a very high level. We stayed here for 7 night. 40 mins away from interlaken city center via Spiez. Wondafull location has access to all major attractions. Specially if you are planing to leave zermatt after enjoying jungfraujoch area, frutigen is the best area to stay. Specially need to mention the staff, they was amazing. Very friendly and supportive.

The property has been very responsive both via booking and by phone. The staff was composed, helpful, and considerate. It was our first visit but they made us (dog included) feel welcome. Cleanliness was spot on both in the room and common areas. Stay at the hotel restaurant as the chef develops and executes daily excellent menus. The location is perfect for hiking as many trails start directly from the doorstep.
First of all, the people are really amazing. The ladies operating the hotel are really friendly. They are really respectful and helpful for other people coming out from different cultures. The heating system is great in rooms and bathroom. The rooms are clean. Internet works. The hotel is old but lovely and has a nice p/p ratio.The workers know enough level of English.
The room is big and the place is so close to blausee within around 20 mins by walking. The staffs are kind and always trying their best to help.
There is a small path close to the hotel which allows you to take a walk and enjoy the view from this village.
This place exceeded my expectations. It isn't the fanciest hotel, but it really cozy, authentic in a great place in mountains. The staff was very nice.
