This is the place to find your soul again after seven years of seven moves, a year of corona lockdown and way too long without a vacation. Pablo, the host, is fantastic; he makes homemade bread and jams and knows how to read people to direct them on the adventure of a lifetime. *Note: if you're looking for pampering, this is not for you.

Beautiful setting in the mountains of the Maggia valley.

Beautiful setting in the mountains of the Maggia valley. Walks take you to waterfalls, through vineyards, over rivers, past fascinating dry stone buildings and through mystical forests (one with abandoned stone houses). Watch out for a few snakes (most I saw were harmless but there are a couple of poisonous species in Ticino). Bus service was fantastic from Locarno. Climbing / bouldering opportunities.
